▪ Procuring material for Substations including LV/HV Switchgear Panels (Up to 36kV), Distribution Transformers (Up to 2000 KVA) & Power Transformers (Up to 30MVA).
▪ Commodity & Material planning to feed production facility & various project needs.
▪ Performing all procurement & contracting related activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation and finalization of purchase orders/contracts.
▪ Performing price negotiations based on historical and current market trends while maintaining corporate objectives related to cost, quality and delivery demands.
▪ Developing new sources & conducting strategic sourcing initiatives & coordinating with QA, Production and Design for In-house trials for the commercially feasible source.
▪ Identifying procurement risk areas in BOMs and executing risk mitigation actions.
▪ Co-ordinating with Design for alteration of BOQs based on commercial inputs.
▪ Monitoring procurement KPIs to maximize efficiency of an organization’s procurement management.
▪ Reviewing and floating pre-tender RFQs & submitting negotiated project costing to sales team.
▪ Performing all activities related to material management including rejection/rework claims, disposing off non-moving stock and material return formalities after claim.
▪ Maintaining and monitoring inventory for the items related to running projects and ensuring smooth production cycle by monthly compilations.
▪ Performing yearly internal audit and submitting report to lead auditor highlighting all the observations & non-conformances for respective departments.
