• Overall responsibility of the production process by ensuring availability of resources such as Man, Machine, Materials with the Area provided.
• Establishing procedures, controls which ensures that the defined standards are maintained & monitored.
• Research, Design, Evaluate, Analyze, Install, and Maintain Mechanical Equipment’s, systems and processes to meet requirements by applying Engineering Knowledge and Principles.
• Read and Interpret Technical Drawings and Implement Operating Procedures and provide Technical Information to the Shop Floor Employees.
• Establishing procedures, controls which ensures that the defined standards are maintained & monitored.
• Analyze all methods of manufacturing and Processes and select the best method / Process according to the resources available with Continuous improvement in the System.
• Analyze New Customer Design Proposals, specifications and their Requirements to evaluate feasibility for the Material and Time required for the design / application.
• Investigate to find Root cause of the equipment failures / Breakdowns to troubleshoot faulty operation, Recommend Preventive Actions to maintenance employees. And coordinate Preventive Maintenance Plan to maintain machine and Equipment’s in optimum conditions.
• Monitor all Operations including Fabrication, welding, Painting and Final Assembly to ensure that all operations are in accordance with the Designed specifications and requirements.
• Conduct Research that analyses and tests the design, performance and Operation of all Mechanical Equipment’s and Processes involved.
• Overall responsibility of the production process by developing, coordinating,
• monitoring all Production Aspects including Cutting, Fabrication, Welding Painting and Final Assembly by ensuring availability of resources such as Man, Machine, Materials.
• Providing regular reports in accordance with the SAP System.
• Ensure 5S, Visual Management and Visual Controls are followed and practiced effectively in the entire Production Area.
• Research and Implement Engineering Principles and Industrial Practices to Emerging fields like Automation, Robotics and Waste Management and Determine requirements for Product development, Improvement and Engineering Projects
• Plan and Schedule in Microsoft Project the Production Activities, Resources Capacities required and to estimate a timescale for a process.
• Draw up a Schedule of work in Microsoft Project to Make sure each outlined deadlines are met for each operation.
• Prepare plans and schedule for all project delivery in coordination with Sales Engineer.
• Plans and Prepare Production Schedule in Microsoft Project for Manufacturing Plant in workshop.
• Draw up Master Schedule to Establish Sequence and Lead Time of each operation to meet delivery dates as customer demands.
• Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
• Coordinates & expedites the placement of purchase orders aligning with production plan.
• Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation.
• Schedules, expedites, & coordinates the delivery & movement of critical material, including material transfers & conditional material releases
• Plans sequence of fabrication, welding, painting, assembly and erection operations for guidance of workers.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned tasks.
• Maintain all asset investment plans and ensure compliance to capital expenditure.
• Analyze Production capacity and arrange for all production requirements.
• Manage all communication and provide efficient feedback for all process.
• Ensures optimal utilization of all common tools and processes.
• Recommend appropriate improvements and ensure optimal quality of all projects schedules and evaluate reports.
• Perform regular analysis of all schedule trends and reports for Top Management on Weekly and Monthly Basis.
• Overall responsibility of the production process such as Fabrication, Welding and Painting of All Heavy Steel Structure by ensuring availability of resources.
• Providing regular reports in accordance with the systems derived.
• Maintaining proper Housekeeping in the Production Area.
• Ensure 5S is practiced effectively in the entire Production Area.
• Ensure Visual Management & Visual Controls are followed in the Production Area.
• Requesting of material for Production as per requirement.
• Prepare, review, approve implement & improve the production process which ensures that all Production information’s are available and that the production activities and resources operate with optimum efficiency.
• Making performance appraisals of production personnel
• Ensuring that the Preventive Maintenance plan is followed efficiently
• To analyze all methods of manufacture and select the best method according to the resources available.
• Manage Employees activities on site for Erection of Plants through proper procedures
