• Project planning, schedule development and maintenance.
• Support and coordinate project management through analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Reports to the manager, projects section any deviation from the original master schedule and recommends measures to minimize / avoid schedule impacts.
• Monitors major milestone activities of projects and evaluates from the baseline schedules the status of active contracts.
• Reviews, analyzes and recommends approval or disapproval disposition of projects detailed schedules, including manpower loading.
• Identifies potential contract changes and develops appropriate logic schedules.

• Develop work breakdown structure and prepare diagrams, graphs and charts to analyze.
• Maintain and update project WBS Dictionary.
• Evaluating and reporting on all scheduling, cost and change controls for this scheme in conjunction with the project.
• Support senior staff and ensure satisfaction of project milestones and customer requirements.
• Minimize company commercial risk through accountability of major project decisions
, schedule development and maintenance.
* Management of the progress measurement system and reporting set-up and implementation.
* Baseline management, resource loading and analysis, progress update and cash flow integration
based on earned value methods.
* Progress / performance evaluation and reporting.
* Turn-around planning and scheduling and implementation / monitoring.
* Develop in conjunction with the Project Director a suitable Work Breakdown Structure for the
project.
* Peer review management of direct reports (P6 Planners) outputs to provide assurance checks for
compliance. Responsible for issue resolution.
* Review overall project status with the Project Management team and recommend corrective
action where necessary.
* Liaise with all other Departments at all meetings relevant to project operations and ensure time
and cost plans are updated to reflect latest information.
Preparation of Project Schedule (Tools used: Primavera) covering entire scope and within defined
timelines
* Generate Weekly, Monthly Progress Reports
* To keep a track of the project and flag the concern during short falls.
* Prepare look ahead plan for the Execution team.
* Cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth running of the project.
* Co-ordinate with various departments like Engineering (who provides working drawings),
Procurement (who buys materials), Contracts (who awards contracts & raise any issues with the
client), quality (who maintains ) & Commissioning Departments
* Collect periodic updates and prepare daily, weekly and monthly updates of the project
* Chair the progress meetings and track the outcomes & deliverables.
* Maintain Event records which shall be helpful in Claims.
* Prepare claim of time extension with valid justification.
