This is an Inventory Software development project using Visual Basis 6.0 and back end Oracle 9i.
Key Responsibilities:
•Analyze Business requirement and come up with Functional design specification which is used to create application.
•Develop application using Visual Basic 6.0
•Client Requirement analysis
•Graphical User Interface Design.
•Unit Testing of the developed Software.
•Requirement change Analysis.
•Modifications as per the client change requirements.
•Trouble shoot and resolve all software related issues.
Project Description:
UPM is one of the world’s leading forest products groups. The company's businesses focus on magazine papers, newsprint, fine and speciality papers, converting materials and wood products.
The company has production in 15 countries and an extensive sales network comprising 150 sales and distribution companies around the world. UPM's main market areas are Europe and North America.
Our project team is involved mainly in the following areas
•Monitor the messaging between UPM and their end customers using tradeXpress and ponton x/p tool.
•Support and enhancement of existing mapping programs and configurations using tradeXpress tool.
•New mapping and configurations for new partners.
Key Responsibilities:
•EDI Analyst
•Monitoring of EDI servers, TradeXpress and PontonXpress servers for Outbound and Inbound messages.
•Monitoring of GXS servers for Outbound and Inbound messages.
•Configuration of new Trading partners in TradeXpress and PontonXpress servers.
•Analysis of message and map codes and give the proper explanation to the back end team during outbound error situations.
•Trouble shooting in Message error situations and server problem situations.
•Interaction with customers and back end team.
•Worked with IDOC, CSV, Positional and XML messages.
•Work 2nd level and 3rd level incident management tickets.
•Monitor and analysis of ANSI X12 & EDIFACT messages.
•Certificate installation for the trading partners in Ponton X/P
