Group Design Project: (Synchronous Generator Excitation System) The purpose of this project was to design and implement an excitation system for 1.5 KVA, 60Hz, 208V, 3- phase synchronous generator to automatically regulate the terminal voltage.The focus was designing a static exciter since it has a faster transient response to changes in load or reference voltage.
