Manage solution development and support Engineering team as they complete projects. Depending on the field, design and test equipment, conduct investigations and experiments, and develop prototypes, also identifing problems, develop strategies, and perform quality control.
✓ Providing necessary consultancy & collaborating closely with the other cyber security and business functions to ensure framework and controls are applied consistently across.
✓ Protects sensitive data and systems from threats within the security operations center by implementing and monitoring the appropriate security controls.
✓ Plan and collate measurement metrics that will provide a realistic view of the compliance state of the IT environment of Watad to all stakeholders.
✓ Manage an internal security risk & compliance team to drive and implement the controls effectively.
✓ Engage in discussions concerning the control framework with Internal / External Auditors (audit related); cooperate in completion of such audits.
✓ Oversee the closure of audit action points and issues; work with the IT department heads to ensure accuracy and completeness of responses.
✓ Conduct training, awareness, case study sessions on themes relevant to the current control environment to ensure uniform appreciation of existing risks and controls among the Operations teams.
✓ Monitoring the networks, iServices & the servers in the sub-region & developing required tools
✓ Working closely with the AME IS team / Service Desk and 3rd party service providers to support the business efficiently.
✓ Maintain proactively IS communications with rig management teams and onshore management teams
✓ Visit the rigs and offices in the sub-region quarterly to assist with issues as needed.
✓ Rollout the windows 7 and O360 across the sub-region in a planned and control manner
✓ Mapping out training plans and schedules, designing and developing training programs (outsourced or in-house) for corporate, HR training and more
✓ Choosing appropriate training methods per case (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc)
✓ Marketing available training opportunities to employees and providing necessary information
My duties include the following activities for two factories:
Installation and configuration for Zebra Card Printers.
Backup server data.
Maintenance networks and computer Hardware.
Installation and updating the needed software on the productions lines.
Installing, maintain and troubleshooting Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks and data communications equipment. also analyzing and fixing network-related problems reported by users.
