Review of ITB docs to comprehend scope of work, required rig / project specification and contract terms and conditions.
Prepare tender summary, encompassing all techno - commercially significant aspects and present to the management.
Select the best match out of rig fleet with the approval of management.
Perform detailed Gap Analysis on the technical specifications of client versus available rig.
Calculate maintenance expenditure with the coordination of rig management.
Calculate total capital expenditure for the Gap Analysis in coordination with procurement team, design department, mechanical department, electrical department and present to the higher management for approval.
Compile and finalize Proposed Technical Specification (Rig Equipment List) embracing management decisions on the level of Technical Compliance and bidding strategy.
Coordinate with higher management & commercial team for Rig Hire Day Rate of proposal with incorporation of capital and maintenance expenditures.
Prepare and arrange other necessary submittals, drawings and schedules, as required for bid submission.
Assist Project Management on contract related deliverables, rig specification and project scope.
Perform other ad hoc duties like project support, sourcing equipment and negotiations with suppliers etc.
Contracts / Proposals / Procurement:
Provide a contractual and commercial summary to the Project Director, highlighting critical areas.
Formulation and suggestion of Terms & Conditions and qualifications as per project requirements / specifications, safeguarding company’s techno - commercial interests.
ITB/RFQ/SOW preparation / floatation, arrange meetings with suppliers for procurement of Equipment/Services.
Facilitating / assisting contractors for rig surveys & respond to Techno - Commercial clarifications / queries.
Evaluation / Negotiation of Techno - Commercial offers from different contractors for award & purchase.
Preparation / sending of Purchase Orders, Service Work Orders, Variation Orders & other required documents.
Inspection of delivered equipment and services, confirm that they are according to PO (specs. qty., & model no.).
Coordinate with Finance & Accounts Depts. for releasing payments after physical & documented verifications.
Provide guidance into the resolution of Techno - Commercial disputes with Clients, Contractors & Suppliers.
Maintain electronic and physical record of all procurement, contract and project related documents.
Field Project Management:
Study project scope, determine project objectives and comprehend project responsibilities & specifications.
Preparation of project work orders, variation orders (as required), project execution and procurement plans.
Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying & checking of invoices & claims from suppliers, vendors & contractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured, verified & recorded.
Overall supervision of project and daily progress reporting, frequent site inspections, coordination of activities, identification, analysis and resolution of issues / bottlenecks.
Conduct / facilitate Independent Certifying Body and Insurance Company Inspections (ABS & Noble Denton).
Keep an eye on all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements.
Chase suppliers / vendors for delayed deliveries and follow up with contractor for project expedition.
Lead daily meetings with project personnel & contractors to assign tasks, assess project progress & requirements
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required.
Drilling Field Service Engineer (Completions):
Inspection of Completion Equipment (Swivel Master Tool Assembly) and confirm sound status of locking mechanism.
Review thoroughly ZADCO completions procedure, attend meetings with ZADCO Completion Team in Head Office and ensure compliance with regards to the tool specs and position of Swivel Master in completions string.
Discuss and coordinate the completions operation with ZADCO Drilling Supervisor, Completion Setting Tool Engr, Packer Engr, Liner Engr, Torque & Drag Engr and ZADCO town completions team for full compliance.
Supervision of completion string drifting, tubular torqueing and run operation in coordination with Completion Setting Tool Engr, Packer Engr, Torque and Drag Engr, Liner Engr and Asst. Company Man.
Operate Swivel Master Tool with Driller as per the Torque & Drag Requirements and Completions program.
Prepare Detailed Report of Completion operations together with Torque & Drag and Hook Load Data.
Field Services Engineer (Instrumentation):
Installation of Rigserv CCTV cameras on offshore rigs of NDC.
Trouble Shooting / Installation of RigServ Anti Collision System on NDC offshore / onshore rigs.
Installation of RigServ voice activated hands free 2 way intercom system on NDC (14 onshore rigs).
Field Focal Point (Project Engineer) for installation of RigServ’s 13 Mud / Drill Watch Systems on NDC on/offshore rigs.
Contracts / Proposals & Techno - Commercial Sales:
Managing Sales, Contracts and Projects of RigServ U.K. (equipment and services) for NDC.
Managing Sales, Contracts and Proposals (Tool Rental) of NOV downhole tools for NDC.
Managing Sales, Services and Projects of Tercel Oil Field Equipment (U.K.) for ADNOC Group.
Coordinating for Prequalification of BILCO Wellbore Cleaning Tools (USA) with ADMA and ZADCO.
Reviewing / Drafting / Evaluation of Proposals & Contracts and approval of purchase orders, preparation of project costing, quotations, invoices and submissions according to company’s policy and client requirements.
Contracts:
Review of client proposed contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance.
Communicating recommended contract changes to internal and external audience.
Drafting standard contracts and forward them to Contract / Project / Sales Manager for review and approval.

Techno-Commercial Proposal:
Reviewing of Tender documents (ITB) and Tender (SOW) evaluation from contractor's prospective.
Coordinating with clients / agents for techno-commercial information exchange.
Preparing Techno Commercial Summaries of the Tender (ITB) for Sales and Operations Manager.
Arranging & attending Pre Bid meetings with Clients for information exchange and contract Terms and Conditions.
Organizing and Leading Pre Bid Intra Departments Sales Meeting to formulate agreed proposal strategy.
Preparation of Project Schedule, Tool Spec Sheets, Performance Specs, various procedures and all other required submittals in coordination with all the departments of organization.

Marketing & Business Development:
Taking part in exhibitions, deliver presentation on the effectiveness of company’s inspection technology & services.
Attending meetings with clients and potential customers (Major Oil Companies / Pipeline Operators) in
various countries (UAE, Vietnam, Kuwait, Egypt and Bahrain) in order to promote company’s services.
• Fair understanding of API 1104, API 1107, 5L and 5CT and other standards to qualify (Mechanical Testing) Welding Procedure Qualifications, welding Procedure Specifications and welder qualification.
• Visual Inspection (Cracks, Porosity, Pin Holes, Slag, Inclusions, Lack of Fusion, Inter-run, Lack of Penetration) of Welding as per BS EN 25817, ASME Section IX, AWS D 1.1 and API 1104.
• Hands on experience in carrying out Bend Test, Tensile Test, Nick Break, Charpy Impact Test, Macro (Welding Defects) and Micro (Detrimental Phases, Ferrite Count (E562) Examination as per API 1104, AWS D1.1, API 1107, ASME Section IX and BS EN 10002, EN 10045, EN 10025, EN 25817 -1993, EN 287 & 288, EN 910, BS EN ISO 6506, EN ISO 6507, EN ISO 6508, BS EN ISO 15156-1 to part 3.
Worked as Asst. Client Representative, (Asst. Drilling Engr.) for drilling operations on Sari South Block, Sindh, Pakistan.
Responsibilities:
Planning for requirements of upcoming operations and managing required equipment in collaboration
with procurement and drilling manager.
Working as a Focal Point between Office and Field Operation Team.
Monitor Bit Hydraulics to ensure the compliance with Company’s Hydraulics & Fluids Program.
Report delays due to disorder of rig equipment (e.g. Pumps and TDS etc.).
Communicate with Chinese crew to make sure that Daily Drilling Program is understood & followed.
Verifying Cementing and Mud calculations and IADC dull bit grading after every bit trip.
Monitoring performance of drilling crew and give necessary instructions to save time (POOH, RIH).
Work in close collaboration with the mud logging unit to make sure that accurate values of drilling parameters are being recorded and that all the sensors are working properly.
Keep informing Company Man about the formation changes with help of logging unit & well site geologist.
Periodically checking shale shakers to prevent mud losses and instruct to replace screens, if damaged.
Conducting, Recording and Monitoring TOTCO surveys and checking tally records.
Collecting data for daily drilling report and well cost report.
Keep monitoring HSE situation of rig floor and surrounding areas and report to HSE officer, Tool
Pusher / Rig Manager to take necessary actions in order to mitigate risks.
Taking advice of well site geologist on upcoming formations & discuss bit selection with Sr. Drilling Engr.
Directing and coordinating with service companies personnel regarding wellsite operations and field services.
