1- Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees
2- Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements
3- Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules
4- Issue Contracts, Letters of Intent, Purchase Orders, etc.
5- Assist the PM in the review of Contractor quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval
6- Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders in the database
7- Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations
1- acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives;
2- checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
3- ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
4- agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
5- managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect;
6- liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
7- liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress;
8- day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors;
9- overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site;
10- preparing reports as required;
11- resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
