Application Engineering
Manage the application team for design, selection and customization of HVAC equipment for projects in the oil & gas sector.
Evaluate workload, review and prioritize enquiries, assign tasks to team, monitor progress and ensure submission of proposals by due dates.
Coordinate preparation and submission of vendor documents including drawings and material submittals to the client as per project schedules.
Review and ensure that all vendor submittals comply with project scope, specifications and schedules. Coordinate and resolve all technical issues related to vendor documentation.
EPC Project Coordination
Review terms and conditions of job contracts and coordinate planning and mobilization of resources as per execution schedules.
Coordinate with the design and manufacturing teams ensuring on time supply of equipment as per project specifications.
Evaluate offers from sub-suppliers and electrical subcontractors, finalize rates, terms and conditions and obtain management approvals for issue of contracts.
Liaise with sub-suppliers and subcontractors, expedite on time submission and approval of technical submittals as well as on time completion of all planned jobs.
Coordinate with client/consultants and participate in pre-inspection meetings and factory acceptance tests (FAT)
Monitor and ensure on time delivery HVAC equipment and preparation of final dossiers facilitating completion of projects meeting predefined milestones

Highlights:
Joined Technip as a Graduate Engineer and promoted to Junior Engineer and then to Package Engineer.
Comprehended wide range of experience in designing and coordination for various equipment, e.g. chemical injection packages (with API & non API Pumps), electric overhead crane, centrifugal pumps, plant air packages, instrument air packages. Moreover, I possess sound knowledge of instruments likevalves, flow indicators and transmitters, pressure gauges, pressure relive valves, etc.
Improved the departmental working procedure for projects while providing continuous support, trainings and guidelines to the site team in several ‘Technip’ offices.

Prepared mechanical deliverables like job specifications, datasheets, scope of supply and materials requisitions for equipment for assigned projects.
Reviewed un-priced technical proposals from vendors against project specifications, prepared technical bid tabulation and recommended suitable vendors for placement of orders.
Coordinated inter-discipline interfaces and reviews during the design face ensuring alignment of equipment across disciplines.
Managed vendors from the enquiry stage through to delivery at site ensuring on time submission, review and approval of mechanical submittals.
Participated in materials handling studies for mechanical equipment; review of process documents like P&IDs and process datasheets ensuring on time closeout of all review/development action related to mechanical engineering.
Contributed to project operability, constructability and maintainability reviews, design reviews and HAZOP studies.
Assisted in post-design procurement and installation of equipment including review of material test certificates, review of inspection procedures and reports as well as witnessing of factory acceptance tests.
As a trained professional trainer/facilitator trained personnel on Intergraph SmartPlant Materials - solution for total materials management and subcontract management for plants and projects.
