involves Development, Enhancement and Customization of Core Banking solution package at a Centralized location for various International Banks.
•Project provides the core banking solution for different banks of India as well as for other Countries Banks and Credit Unions.
Role and Responsibilities
•Microsoft SQL Server database development and performance tuning.
•Microsoft SQL Server procedures, views, functions, triggers, tables and queries creation and deployment.
•Development of SQL and T-SQL scripts to meet the client requirement.
•Microsoft SQL Server database backup and restoration from one VPN (virtual private network) to another VPN.
•Microsoft SQL Server script creation for taking backup of individual or multiple tables.
•Shrinking of Microsoft SQL Server database logs to maintain the disk space.
•Import and export of SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 tool.
•Creation of link from Microsoft SQL Server to oracle server for accessing data of oracle server from Microsoft SQL Server.
•Working knowledge on MSBI (SSIS, SSIS, SSRS).
•Building reports through SSRS.
•Diagnose and resolve issue related to the database access and performance.
•Fixed Bugs related to backend as well as frontend.
•Running of EOD batches for CUSSCO on production environment on Windows Server by taking RDP (Remote desktop) on production server of windows by using FortiClient Tool and to fix the problems occurred during EOD.
•Version management of codes after comparing from the previous versions using BC2 tool.
•To send Patches in the UAT and Production environment.
•Health check and monitoring production system and job scheduling to ensure SLA is meeting.
•Continuous improvement of the system, e.g. job automation, performance tuning.
•Regular tracking of alerts and failures for future reviews.
•Determine the impact of proposed functionality on current system.
•Creation of UTS (unit test cases) and completes unit testing successfully.
•Creation of IRR documents for the incident occur during running batches and all.
•Creation of TS (Technical Specification) documents.
•Creation of KSS (Knowledge sharing session) document to share the knowledge gained.
