Nature of Work
• Getting the right product in the right quantity & quality in the right place at the right time at the right cost.
• Ensuring the professionalism in promoted & maintaining by the procurement staf.
• Ensuring that all procurement are conducted in a fair and impartial manner
SPECIFIC RESPONCIBILITIES
• Preparing purchase requisitions on special request not covered by material request form
• Acquiring quotations purchase request
• Issuing request for quotations where applicable
• Negotiating competitive prices with suppliers
• Obtaining sample from suppliers for prior approval
• Issue purchase order for local & foreign purchasers
• Issue FPO and preparing insurance claims as required
• Advising suppliers & negotiating replacements of defective goods received and shortage if any
• Drafting of purchasing committee reports PCRs for PRs value 100, 000 and above
• Buying approved PRs
• Update PRs data after purchase
• Issue payment request for purchasers payable by checks or telex transfer
• Prepare monthly statements of LPO and FPO
• Informing suppliers about their bank transfer

• Administrative support to the Director
• Being the first point of contact for the department
• Ensuring systemic quality and fulfillment of governance across all projects
• Analyzing, collating and providing key information on projects, resources and budgets
• Procurement related activities
• Assisting the Team Leader & Director in preparation of work plans
• Preparation of payment requests/ travel claims and ensures that all supporting documentations are attached before submission to the Team Leader for signatures.

Nature of Work
• Meeting with salesmen to make schedule for daily work
• Planning of Site to be visit
• Visiting retails and wholesale outlets for inspection
• Checking quantities of goods in stock
• Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the Head ofice
• Maintenance of relationships with existing customers through regular review visits, visiting the potentials customers to demonstrate products and gain new markets.
