Developed and successfully implemented the application SIPAD (Surrogate IP Address Defender), for detecting and resolving duplicate IP address issues over the LAN.
The application was written in C, compiled with Gnome C Compiler and run on Fedora Core 7
Responsibilities:
Design, maintenance and up gradation of large wired and wireless networks
Maintaining and upgrading the PCs and peripheral devices such as Multimedia Projectors,
Scanners, printers, network switches, etc.
Maintaining and upgrading Operating Systems (Windows and LINUX)
Maintaining and upgrading Application Software
Ensuring continuity of Internet service in the department

Provided internet Services to the Students and Faculty Members
Maintained Proxy servers and looked after day to day troubleshooting
Maintained Active Directories
