• Conduct Food Safety Inspections for Aswaaq supermarkets according to the monthly Schedule Prepared by Q& S Department and send Inspection report to store managers for Corrective actions. Take immediate corrective actions against major findings and ensure to educate the staff involved on the right process
• Ensure food safety operational of the premises are in compliance with HACCP standards and government regulations. Ensure CCPs are monitored on daily basis and relevant records are updated as per the frequency specified in HACCP Plan of the Company
• Conduct Monthly Internal Audit for all supermarkets Under Aswaaq as per the Proposed Internal Audit Guidelines of the company and communicate for the corrective action Plan with Store managers
• Following up with the inspection findings &corrective action. Provide necessary assistance and fruitful recommendations to solve technical issues
• Conduct Quarterly Maintenance Audit for the stores for all maintenance related issues of the store and Communicate for Proper corrective action
• Prepare Weekly, Monthly and Internal Audit Summary Report for food Safety Inspections and Review individual store findings with Q&S Executive on weekly basis to Discuss steps for Improvement
• Identify Major and Minor Non-Conformities (NC ), Issue and Communicate with PIC for Proper corrective action
• Assist external auditor in HACCP Surveillance, Recertification audit for the store and Municipality Inspections and Provide them all necessary documents related to food Safety
• Monitor store PICs performance against set responsibilities and Conduct frequent meetings with PICs and update them on regulations and food safety issues related to the stores and Municipality Requirement
• Auditing Ambient, High Risk and Low Risk suppliers for Aswaaq, Prepare Audit Reports and Communicate with purchasing departments to help them select right suppliers
• Monitor temperature of supermarkets through Online monitoring system and take corrective actions in case of Deviation
• Conducting Internal Audits EMS (ISO 14001) for Retail Operations, follow up with corrective actions
• Work Closely with Call Center to attend the customer Complaints for the stores, Identify the root causes and take proper corrective action which is complying with company requirements and policies to close the customer complaint
Training
• Train the staff for SOP, EHS, Tool box talk and role in promoting the health & Safety culture within the organization
• Conduct Food safety level 2 and Refresher Trainings for the employees, food handlers etc
• Work closely Training& Development to understand the training needs for staff and coordinate accordingly-TNA
