- Under a broad supervision, maintain safe and good functioning of a surface logging unit.
- Assure a good reporting to management and on site customer satisfaction.
- Mentoring and evaluation of junior personnel.
- Solve different technical problems related to the surface logging job.
- Operational drilling activities, analysis and interpretation of parameters while drilling, and drilling activities on site (mud systems, BHA elements, rigs specificities, tripping activities, HSE).
- Understanding and monitoring gas while drilling and tripping (specific knowledge with chromatograph FID chromatograph and Total Gas analyses and software: use, maintenance, calibration, reporting).
Mudlogging hardware (sensors, units, wiring, electronic) and GEOLOG Mudlogging software’s.
- Operational drilling activities, analysis and interpretation of parameters while drilling, and drilling activities on site (mud systems, BHA elements, rigs specificities, tripping activities, HSE).
- Understanding and monitoring gas while drilling and tripping (specific knowledge with chromatograph FID chromatograph and Total Gas analyses and software: use, maintenance, calibration, reporting).
- Dai ly geological statements.
- Classi f icat ion of the qual i ty of the rock by method R.M.R and AFTES.
- Establ ishment of the longi tudinal geological cuts of the format ions
crossed by the tunnel .
- Meet ing techniques wi th the bui lding owner and the project
super intendent .
- Sending of the requests for approval and preparat ion of the PAQ.
- Geotechnics calculat ions (determinat ion of working st ress and
compressing by the pres sure measur ing method and SPT) .
- Dai ly geological statements.
- Classi f icat ion of the qual i ty of the rock by method R.M.R and AFTES.
- Establ ishment of the longi tudinal geological cuts of the format ions crossed by the tunnel .
- Meet ing techniques wi th the bui lding owner and the project
super intendent .
- Sending of the requests for approval and preparat ion of the PAQ.
- Geotechnics calculat ions (determinat ion of working st ress and compressing by the pres sure measur ing method and SPT) .
