Defining and implementing service level management best practices throughout the organization.
Reporting of achieved SLA targets and operational performance of the project to STC higher management.
Implementing continual improvement strategies and ensuring operational quality and service throughout the organization.

Reviewing and tracking the progress of projects through circulation of status updates and conducting progress review meetings with stakeholders.
Preparing WLA’s between different departments of the organization like Field Maintenance, Second line support, Customer Care, and the 3rd-parties of shared network, etc
Producing the KPI reports, for excessive BER, Nodes availability and NE visibility. Based on a set of KPIs taking proactive measures for highlighting issues which can impact the network.
Submitting the SLA reports based on the approved fault restoration timings and defined exclusion reasons. Based on the qualitative and quantitative study of the trouble tickets, defending the penalty imposed on the company by client.
Preparation of the Outage investigation reports for the all vendor's (Huawei, Siemens and Lucent) SDH system and submitting to the manager operation for further follow-up with the client.
Coordinating with the TTAC (Transmission Technical Assistance Center) for the serious SDH issues that need proper assistance of the vendors.
Responsible to propose solution to protect critical flat transmission/IPMPLS rings/links in STC’s fiber optic network.
Coordinate in updating the STC’s Long distance fiber optic network map.
Responsible to identify the root cause of the outages caused due to cable cuts in STC’s network.
Technically review of the methods and procedures for the installation of optical cable, MSAN, SDH & DWDM network elements in STC network.
Identification of the process and procedures for the installation and expansion of new cable and network elements in transmission back-haul optical network.
Verification and approval of method of procedures (MOP’s) of design and As-Built network elements in Network finance tracking system (NFTS) and Network project tracking system (NPTS).
Reviewing the existing procedures and writing-up the new required procedures.
Liaison with vendors and operator to ensure complete upgrade of software’s to the new required version.
Modification and update of network plans.
Coordinate PAT’s between vendors and regional technical teams.
Technical verification of PAT results as per the requirement.
Maintaining the transmission network element database.
•To formalize & implement the best telecom planning & optimization techniques, and SOP’s within the teams and relevant stakeholders.
•Capacity and media management on long haul Optical fiber network of PTCL.
•Enhances multiple services on the SDH/DWDM systems installed on national long distance transmission network routes of PTCL.
•Plan for the upgradation of core network elements for multimedia/ broadband infrastructure.
•Scrutinizing and analyzing technical audit reports and routine traffic patterns/ data, to conclusively substantiate all corrective actions initiated from technical, procedural and planning standpoint to avoid future network operations/ capacity issues.
•Prepare technical feasibility reports for the provision of media allocation on company’s own network topologies, Cellular Mobile Operators, Internet service providers, Govt. & Semi Govt. Agencies, and other Data & Network operators.
•Preparation and Implementation of protection plans on diversity rings for important traffic of own network and other mobile operators.
•Network diagrams and presentations on network connectivity, traffic flow charts and network management.
•Responsible for the architecture of Core networks, private solutions and back end systems.
•Preparation of Traffic Matrix designs of DWDM/SDH installed on Core Network and subsidiary routes keeping in view the connectivity structure of MSU to MSU, or MSU to RDLU and route requirement of cellular mobile operators.
•Customer Care through one window facility to Mobile Operators, LDI, LLO, ISP’s, and WLL operators for provisioning of bandwidth on National Backbone and subsidiary links.
•Fundamental Network Planning and Optimization by providing route diversity arrangements for ITI Traffic, DXX Network, International Traffic, CMOs and Inter-DTE Traffic to meet SLAs standards and loading of Optical Fiber System/Media through effective and efficient means on more than 2000 SDH systems installed on Core and Spur links.
•Interpret specifications and use cases in conjunction with the high level design and user interface design documents to deliver a presentation that meets the business requirement.
•Ensure that components meet quality standards and use standards for presentation and integration.
•Coordinate code changes within the team.
•Monitor and respond to testing queries promptly either incorporating work into the development plan or immediately fixing the problem.
•Assist in the development of a library of re-usable code components.
•Participate in /contribute to analysis and design sessions.
•Participate in specification walkthroughs, prepare code walkthroughs
I participated in LOS surveys, Transmission Height tracker maintenance, Acceptance tests, and network diagramming using Global Mapper, Visio and Map Info.
Received a scholarship in 3rd semester because of good grades. Participated in all Pakistan inter university extempore competition and was given Allama iqbal award. Did internship in PTCL in summer vacations of 2005.
