As a Network Engineer I need to manage & maintain the Ministry of Interior- Control & Command Center Internal and External Network,
 Maintained, Monitoring & Troubleshooting of cisco 3900, 3800, 2800 & 1700 series routers and 3750, 3560, 2900 series of catalyst switches.
 Maintaining & Configuring the 991 call center system including Servers and Sub-Stations.
 Maintaining the Oracle & FEP Servers, adding clients to the internal domains & troubleshooting the connectivity issues.
 Implementing and managing different disk configurations and formats e.g. NTFS and RAID. And providing connectivity to both local and network SAN storage.
 Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems. General hardware troubleshooting.
 Installing and Configuring DNS, FTP, DHCP, remote access and Terminal Server Services. Installing and Configuring Internet Information Services (IIS) for Web hosting.
 "File and Print Server" Administration (including: installation, managing users' shares and permissions, observing file growth and troubleshooting printing problems).
 Creating, implementing, and managing backup/restore plans and schedules both for tape and disk using either windows or third party software e.g. Netback-up, Acronis TrueImage.
 Designing, planning and executing migration plans and system upgrades.
 Generating daily and monthly reports on system status, usage and performance.
 Responsible for ensuring data center availability meet the requirements of operations.
 Providing 24/7 on-call support to avoid downtime and ensure fast resolution of problems.
