Farhan Shahid has over 15 years of professional experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors as a communication, fundraising, partnership and CSR specialist. Farhan graduated from The University of Karachi in Business Administration & Finance and diploma in Event Management & Innovative Marketing from the EMDI Institute of Media & Communication with strength focus on event management, project management, fundraising & awareness campaigns, conferences / symposium and award ceremonies.

Farhan Shahid is a Certified Senior International Project Manager™ (SIPM) and member of the professional associations, The International Academy of Business & Financial Management (IABFM), Association of Senior International Project Managers (ASIPM) and Project Management Institute (PMI).

He has vast experience in various sectors (corporate, non-profit, hospitality, healthcare, live entertainment and special needs education) and managing major awareness campaigns, fundraising projects for non-profit organizations.

Currently Farhan Shahid is heading the events and projects division at the Dubai Autism Center where his core responsibilities are launching major awareness campaigns, fundraising projects and engaging corporate from public and private sector to collaborate with the organization to join the efforts in reaching the goals to serve individuals diagnosed with Autism, families of the determined ones and community in large.

In 2009 he has been appointed by the Executive Committee to oversee the project ‘Princess Haya Award for Special Education’ an award winning program initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, Wife of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

In his capacity as a Project Manager & Jury Committee Rapporteur at the Princess Haya Award for Special Education, Farhan is actively involved with the scrutinizing, shortlisting and winners’ selection process.

Currently heading the Organizing Committee and is responsible to oversee and manage project development from concept to completion.

With the passion to serve the community, Farhan has adopted various humanitarian and social causes to make a difference.

Accountable for the overall delivery of Dubai Autism Center’s key fagship fundraising events and
Awareness Campaigns to engage existing and new supporters, mobilizing long term commitment.
