To conduct Investigation on Bank wide level in order to suggest ways to eliminate/minimize internal frauds
in the organization.
Analyze major and unusual transactions or any activity during investigation including but not restricted /
limited to review of personnel files, contracts, confidential documents, correspondence, communications,
minutes etc.
Manage and report on investigations of confidential nature including following up secretly for fraud or
misappropriation as directed by Head Investigation.
 Exercise due care in document handling to maintain confidentiality and acceptability of evidence in ERD
against charge fixed to employees or any legal proceedings.
Draft & Review investigation report and ensure that the investigation report is properly supported by
sufficient, relevant and reliable evidences.
Regularly review reports and discusses the performance of planned and ongoing investigations and takes
appropriate actions to meet deadlines.
Coordinate with Legal department for collaboration with Law Enforcement Agencies in fraud matters.
Where required appear in a Banking court on behalf of UBL.
Identify training and development needs for all staff members for Investigation skills and provide
professional direction, guidance and assistance as appropriate;
Providing root-cause analysis with nature & amount with details required by Management.
Prepare monthly activity report for the Unit
Assist in preparation of Annual Budget for the Unit
Monitor and track the implementation of corrective actions and follow-up on outstanding issues to ensure
compliance and resolution.
Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to fraud detection
