•Ensure that material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively in order to ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costs.
•Take ownership of material planning issues that arise, including over or under delivery and take any follow up actions especially in the event of material shortages that affect production.
•Manage inventory risk and ensure that contingency plans are in place.
•Ensure that any Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or IT system in place is effective and that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required.
•Ensure the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory accuracy at all times and manage and control inventory levels and movements.
•Take overall responsibility for obsolete parts process and ensure business is left with minimum liability and minimal waste.
•Input and hold responsibility for Material Planning budgets.
•Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate on-time materials to the production line as and when required avoiding disruption to production.
•Take lead on internal and external relationships to ensure consistent, timely and effective communication regarding material availability.
•Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time.
•Contribute to the assessment and sourcing of suppliers in conjunction with members of the purchasing team.
•Resolve supplier concerns and evaluate supplier performance in conjunction with members of the purchasing team.
•Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
•Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors
Looking after the manufacturing & assembling of all the home appliances being manufactured under the brand name like Refrigerators, Deep Freezers, Air Conditioners, Microwave, Washing Machine, and Water Heaters etc.
•Plan, direct, or coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications along with supply chain (arrangement of right material at the right time)
•Maintained the integrity and efficiency in daily operations by enforcing compliance with all company policies, safety, and quality control standards.
•Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analysing production, quality control, maintenance, and other operational reports, to detect production problems.
•Managed and ensured coordination and efficiency in all movement and storage of materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished products.
•Streamlined manpower planning and scheduling based on in-depth time and motion study, leading to lower manufacturing cost.
•Oversee a work force of around 1000 plus employees in the production department.
•Maintaining organizational agility by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees, ensuring professional development of subordinates including Production Team Leaders and sustaining harmonious working relationship with labour.
•Closely monitoring all the process losses & material rejections, and Root Cause Analysis of these losses or quality issues and preparing action plans in order to ensure the continuous operation of the production process and to minimize the rejection cost.
•Schedule, delegate, and ensure performance of all equipment maintenance following maintenance procedures. Maintain maintenance logs.
•Close coordination with R&D Department for the implementations of Design Changes, Cost Reduction Plans & executions of plans for development of new models.
•Regular meetings with After Sales Department & implementations of preventive action plans in order to minimize after sales product complains.
•Implementations of HSE plans to ensure safety of plant, machinery & labour.
•Implementations of tools like 5s, Lean Manufacturing & TPM to ensure delivery of smooth products with best optimized resource & minimize operational costs

•Supervise the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs and, when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
•Communicate effectively with the General Manager/Owner, the Sales Team, and the Production Team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that production, sales, and customer objectives are met.
•Meet all customer commitments through the production of timely, efficient and high quality products and service.
•Assures all work entered into production follows the order entry standards and procedures.
•Prepare, update and maintain production schedule.
•Organize workflow according to workload to meet delivery schedule and to complete assigned jobs.
•Maintain production control records and provide information to sales representatives, customers and management with regard to delivery dates, schedules and operating problems.

Monitoring of raw material which includes its reception, issuance and quality assurance under the standards set by DIN, Military, BS and ASME.

•Utilizing my engineering skills in practical scenarios performing, Research and Development, Reverse Engineering in the line of Production.
•Handling day to day tasks, such as interactions with other departments, resource management, etc.
•Inspecting and evaluating quality control of the process and quality of the final products.
•Having complete familiarity with ERP environment for production purposes.
