Part of EPMO office for saudi customs multiple projects from renovation to retrofit and building prototype models for the land ports and preparing the RFP, Estimated BOQ & Preparing detailed scope of work along with the site supervision for ongoing projects and design review.
Major Project I have assigned for in Jabal Omar Development Project (Makkah, KSA)
Hyath & Hilton 4 Tower Zone S1 (Commercial 1, 2, 3, 4+Parking1, 2, 3+GF+Mezz+LV+UV+19
floor Tower with 3 Technical floors)
HVAC, FF & Plumbing System
Directly reporting to Project Manager/Sr MEP Manager
* Coordination with all MEP service
* Responsible for preparing the shop drawing with the help of AutoCAD - draftsman &
coordinating with other services on site
* Responsible for Preparing & clarifying technical issues on Technical submittals
* Responsible for Design & review of Heat Load Calculation, Duct sizes, chilled water pipes &
Ventilation system
* Responsible for Design check & execution of HVAC systems
* Preparing chilled water piping layouts & review the pipe diameter and flow
* Preparation of schematic diagram for Fan Coil Units and chilled water routing
* External Static pressure calculations for AHU’S, FCU’S, FAHU & Ventilations fans
* Chilled water pumps head Calculation for Primary, secondary & Tertiary pumps
* Attending co-ordination & site meetings with the Client/Consultant/Main Contractor for any
design changes
* Know About using of ASHRAE .SMACNA, ASME Standards. In addition to follow the Uniform
Plumbing Code, NFPA, & En81 code for conveying system.
* Monitoring the all Material Take off and Material Request & follow up with the procurement dept
for delivery as per schedule.
* Planning the material and manpower requirement & work to be done as per the program.
* Attending Project progress meeting and coordinating meeting with main contractor, consultant
and client
* Monitoring site store, assuring safe storage and handling of site material.
* Issuing FCR/RFI for closing the site issues.
* Coordinating with supplier for material requirement as per delivery schedule.
* Preparation & follow up the of reports, Daily & Weekly program based on one month look ahead
program.
* Coordination with all other services like Architectural, structural, Electrical & Other services.
towards successful completion of project.
* Ensuring that work is executed in accordance with the Approved Shop drawings and
specifications, agreed procedures and method statements
* Taking Approvals for purposed material by submitting Technical Submittal.
* Assisting AUTOCAD Operator for Preparing shop drawings, coordination drawing & As Builds
Drawing,
* Preparing Mockups for installation for all HVAC, plumbing & FF system & to take approval from
client & consultant,
* Monitoring all Subcontractors work closely to ensure that the Quality of the work is as per
specification and is completed on time
* Managing site documentation / construction file
* Ensuring that the work is completed in accordance with the specified Quality Management and
Control system and in a safe manner
* Ensuring that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with the acceptance
criteria identified for the project
* Ensuring that safety rules and regulations are communicated to the workforce and are fully
enforced
* Ensuring that all information on drawings is conveyed to the workforce in a proper manner and
details produced where required
* Co-ordination with Subcontractors and suppliers
* Co-ordination with site Engineer’s for other services for any issues at site
* Complying with all Company policies, quality procedures, statutory regulations and project
specifications for the work allocated
* Completing all necessary Project documentation related to the work under his direct control and
co-ordinate daily site inspections
* Supervision for complete system like HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting conveying system with
assistance to testing & commissioning.
CONVEYING SYSTEM:
* Supervising All the Elevators (124 no’s) & Escalator’s 32 no’s from ThyssenKrupp for Podium &
high-rise building
* GA ( General Drawing review & submission for Engineer’s approval)
* Performing inspection of Work & Material Inspection as per the approved ITP’s & Test point and
also checking the delivered is as per approved material submittal & shop drawing with same
parameters
* Complete supervision for all Related Electrical works from MEP team & Specialist team to ensure
the Power source from temporary to permanent power & with complete low currents system &
interfaces with Fire Alarm system
* Ensuring the daily manpower resources are allocated & preparing the weekly reports for the
conveying system & attending the biweekly meeting.
* Coordination with the Civil Team for the shaft clearances to allow they team to work & also
ensuring all the safety measures are taken with approved permit from concern safety engineers.
* Ensuring all the interfaces like BMS, Intercom, RMS, Shaft Lighting, Fire Alarm, Digital signage
system all interface & getting the signal in the control station for elevators & Escalators
* Attending final 3rd party inspection to get the final operation certificate.
