Responsibilities:
- Finding and implementing a solution to reduce number of frequently asked questions which KAU Acc manager used to receive.
Achievements:
- Completed my summer training at KAU Acc.
- Solved a problem at KAU Acc.
- Suggested multiple solutions for the manager of KAU Acc.
- Created an FAQ page for KAU Acc.
- Managed to make the manager happy.
Details:
KAU Acc is a business accelerator and incubator. I was working in a team on one project. They were getting too much frequent questions on WhatsApp and I solved this problem. The suggested solution was creating an FAQ page or creating a Chatbot that utilize AI and NLP. The manager chose creating FAQ because they don't have budget for the Chatbot. The manager received the FAQ page on time and was satisfied by the result.
Responsibilities:
- Helping customers to get what they are looking for.
- Helping customers choose best option when they have lots of options.
- Helping customers choose colors and designs that fits together.
- Helping customers with getting the right measurements for their rooms.
- Answering questions asked by customers about the product, the manufacturer, how it's made, how to install it, etc.
- Informing the customer about exchange or return policy.
- Using the computer and the printer to issue invoices.
- Using pen and paper to issue invoices if there are issues in the computer, the internet, or in the electricity.
- Receiving cash payments, POS payments, and bank transfers.
- Communicating with the accountant to make sure that each bank transfer is received.
- Helping customers with shipping what they paid for to their address.
- Communicating with the warehouse manager to prepare the pallets or boxes for shipping.
- Communicating with shipping service providers and assigning them to customers.
- Communicating with tile installers and assigning them to customers.
More Responsibilities:
- Using Microsoft excel to report daily sales and daily expenses.
- Submitting the daily report to the accountant.
Key Achievements:
- Managed to meet my responsibilities and study at collage at the same time.
- Managed to make happy customers who keep calling me or texting me even after I left the company.
- Managed to make happy managers who selected me to visit the factory we import from.
