achievements, responsibilities & success factors(a few
examples of my work assignments):
Worked on a Real-estate mandate to help the client identify the best
available solution to develop his portfolio of lands which have a value
of SR 10 Billions. That included picking up the best locations to start
working on, setting a business structure with various funding options
and putting the legal structure including corporate governance,
investment and risk management. I have delivered what I had
promised to do and the client feedback was very positive.
Worked on a restructuring mandate for a big retail business in the
Western region, which was facing a major decline in sales. Reviewed
their business lines and market feedback, suggested and
implemented cost reduction initiatives without impacting the business
model. Accomplished my tasks and the feedback was great.
Worked with a large manufacturing company (which was making
loses) to provide solutions to return to profitability. The
recommendations included the focus on expanding the market share
through offering an updated product line along with dynamic pricing. I
have accomplished my assignment and the client’s feedback was
very positive.
Worked on many other very successful assignments such as Oil
&Gas, investment review & restructuring, business and market
analysis, and entertainment sector analysis.
From, January 2014 up-to March 2017, Rusd International
Holding Group VP &Chairman Advisor, besides that, MD of
Rusd Investment Bank (Malaysia), MD Rusd Capital
(Dubai), CEO of Dar AlBinaa Real-estate Company, CEO of
Rusd Global Company.
Major achievements, responsibilities & success factors:
Started in the Group by being MD and Board member of Rusd
Investment Bank and then moved on to carry on more and bigger
responsibilities. Being an MD, meant full leadership and management
of Rusd Investment Bank, such as strategies, planning, budgeting
and execution to achieve its target.
Initiated, and worked on (from being an idea up to its launch)
successfully launching a new investment arm in Dubai (Rusd
Capital). Being an MD, meant full leadership and management of
Rusd Capital, such as strategies, planning, budgeting and execution
to achieve its target.
I was managing many assigned tasks& matters globally and locally,
and providing guidance& support through my role as the Group’s VP
and through being the CEO of Rusd Global Company.
Initiated &structured, and acquired many local and global successful
investment deals\products for the Group& customers, through my
roles as the Group’s VP or by being the MD of two investment banks
(in Malaysia and UAE), which included, income generating assets,
fixed income, global real estate and many other types of
structures/acquisitions/products. I was also overseeing and
responsible of the investments, funds and products under the
management of the two investment banks in order to increase the
AUM through current and new products/services.
Supported and assisted the Group in getting a famous car dealership
in SA. That meant helping in negotiations, legal aspect, business
planning, market strategies and implementation.
Also, created an alliance that works closely with public sector.
In the Board of the of three of Group’s financial institutions, Board
member of ALAWWAL Capital, MD and Board Member of Rusd
Capital, and MD and Board member of Rusd Investment Bank. In
addition, I sit on the Board of Tajeer Company and other companies.
Initiated and created Dar AlBinaa Real-estate Company that is
currently the Group arm in terms of real-estate valuations, research,
and deal flow provider covering different real-estate segments in
Saudi Arabia.
Created the Group’s first BOT Co. legal/Investment/Risk structure.
Achieved Group’s financial and strategic goals, locally and globally.

Risks
Major achievements, responsibilities & success factors:
My major responsibility was to develop investment funds. (more
than USD 2 Billion of AUM)
I was in-charge of Al-Tawfeek’s Public Relations Department.
In the absence of the CEO, I was delegated his responsibilities to
lead in Company’s overall business.
I was appointed as a member in various corporate committees
and Boards of a few subsidiaries.
Launched & managed many successful investment funds in
various asset classes that included real-estate local& global, such
as US equities, and leasing funds locally and within the GCC.
Worked on many research assignments that relate to Islamic
Finance such is creating the first Islamic Private Equity Formula&
structure, worked on/and launched the Group’s first local real
estate funds in Saudi Arabia, helped in launching the first Islamic
Dow Jones Fund in Saudi Arabia besides the first European
Equity Fund In Euro currency. Also structured and presented the
first Iraq Redevelopment Fund for IDB in Jeddah (which was
based on IDB’s request). Further more, I was in charge of a
private fund that was managing its investments in industrial, real
estate and infrastructure projects in Lebanon.
I have over achieved my financial goals and market share figures
during my service with the organization.
