Key Responsibilities
•Provide actual monthly & quarterly financial data in compliance with Corporate Reporting policies and all local financial regulations
•Drive development and preparation of solid financial business plans (and underlying analysis) to ensure the affiliate delivers its financial commitments
•Summarize and communicate complex financial situations in a clear/concise manner explaining thought processes and analysis to Senior Management. Support GM / FD in key decisions and ensure responsible investment decisions
•Advise senior management in areas of profit maximization, resource prioritization and day-to-day operations. Anticipate market activities that can impact business. Provide economic/political scenarios
•Ensure strong financial governance and maintains accuracy, integrity and compliance of financial data and reporting with relevant local and International SOPs, laws, regulations, policies & procedures
•Provide financial counsel and analysis for proposed strategic growth initiatives, monitor local operations performance against financial plans/updates/LBE’s and ensure management is advised on exposure issues
•Ensure integrity of financial books and records, establish and maintain a robust and compliant internal control environment
•Perform regular monitoring of Inventory to identify risks and proactively highlight expense fluctuation vs. budget
•Manage reconciliation process with distributor and for other local accounts
Achievements
-Enhanced and improved the monthly Demand Planning and S&OP process and other databases for planning and monitoring activities to enhance accuracy and efficiency
-Enhanced controls on Opex to avoid over spending
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of sales and financials for Annual Business Plan / & monthly LBE in liaison with Commercial & Supply Chain
Manage financial and sales analysis for execution of team responsibilities and achievement of stated goals
Continuous monitoring and improvement of the returns, promotions and pricings through various analysis
Coordinate, prepare & submit various Headcount, Sales & Profit & Loss related Reports to the Area Office
Acts as an advisor on retail promotional and pricing analytics
Works closely with Commercial in recommendations for optimal ROI delivering promotional programs.
Review and roll out quarterly incentive payout to the Field Force
Ensure compliance of all local and International SOPs and policies

- Provide detailed analysis for setting up the sales forecast for Business Plan & roll out quarterly sales targets

- Trade Finance activities including Trading of Foreign Currency in Forward Exchange Markets & manage monthly reports
- Maintaining Relationship with Banks & Leasing Companies
- Negotiation of IRR for Lease Transactions with the Leasing Companies & process & co-ordinate leasing activities

- Designed and created a database for Trade Finance to monitor the trade finance activities with seven banks of the company.
- Developed a database for Leasing transactions of the company which resulted in effective monitoring and timely payments of lease rentals
- Played a key role in the Implementation of Electronic Banking System by Standard Charted Bank and the Duetsche Bank.
