Active participation in migration of current service layer from legacy IOS to Next Generation Nexus NXOS in new data centers. ACI
•Active participation for Network & Services ATP for newly implemented data center in (Dubai-AUH) on Cisco Nexus9K Application Centric Infrastructure.
Job Profile:
•Working on Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) Cisco Nexus 9K solution implementation for new Data Centre in Khazna.
•Reviewing and implementing network changes through Change Management Process in order to achieve new connectivity’s, network up gradations, new implementations of services etc.
•Review HLD/LLD for upcoming new network projects.
•Supporting for the issues related to DU IP Backbone core network consisting of Cisco CRS-3 routers and multiple edge routers including Cisco CRS, Cisco ASR-9K, Cisco 7600, Nexus 7K, 5K, 2K.
•Configuration of Cisco Nexus N7K, N5K, N2K devices for new Data Center in UAQ for DU to serve the IT and Mobile Services.
•Configuration of VDCs, VPC, Fabric Channel, OTV etc for DU Data Centers located in geographic redundant locations in UAE.
•Proactively customizing processes by generating different report using different network tools like Syslog, PRTG, W4Net etc.
•Proactively doing network revamping and removing the snag from the network
To perform internet Traffic Engineering.
•Calculation of bandwidth from Arbor Peakflow for better network visibility.
•Participated in deployment of Goggle Cache solution.
•Traffic Analysis using Wire Shark tool.
•Resolved latency and internet related speed issues.
•Extracting different reports from Cisco SEC 8000.
•Resolving trouble tickets using HPSM and Pivotal TT systems.
•Training of Field Engineers for internet troubleshooting.
•Coordination with Vendor for TAC/RMA Cases (Cisco, Juniper & ALU)..
monitoring by Panda GateDefender Performa 8100 and 9100 series
•Online Scanning of critical servers using Qualys Guard.
•Supervision of E1 microwave link from Lahore to Faisalabad installed by Mobilink
•Coordination with PTCL for 10 MB Fiber Link
