Setting objectives and strategies for the IT department to align with and enable business strategies and objectives
Selecting and implementing suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits, in addition to improve customer experience
Plan and supervise the implementation of IT projects and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization based on approved on roadmap

1. SWCC (Saline Water Conversion Corporation/Government) / Strategy and Transformation:
Participate in a huge initiative for electronic Transformation Program (eTP) to plan, manage and execute the organization’s digital vision to automate the business activities in alignment with Saudi Arabia vision 2030.
2. Devoteam/GACA (General Authority for Civil Aviation / Government) / Strategy and Transformation
Manage huge initiative to transform IT department into a commercial company that sells aviation IT solutions (Corporatization); this is part of government initiatives for privatization in alignment with Saudi Arabia vision 2030.
The scope includes: Strategy development, Enterprise Architecture, Roadmap, ITIL, Resources enablement, PMO, …etc.
• Analyzing the internal structure of the IT department and defining the risks, opportunities and how to deal with them.
• Reviewing the IT department plans and the user’s requirements; defining their accordance and priorities.
• Defining the completeness and efficiency of IT operation and administration.
• Reviewing and developing the IT strategy.
• Structuring IT department to serve IT strategy and implementing business development projects and operations; in addition to defining IT roles and responsibilities.
• Checking the efficiency of IT plans, programs, and under process projects.
• Supporting the IT department in preparing the implementation plans.
-Participate in strategic and operational governance processes of the bank as a member of the senior management team
-Provide technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the bank IT restructuring program
-Develop and maintain appropriate IT organizational structure
-Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all IT staff
-Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve bank goals
-Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, operating procedures and IT governance
-Define and communicate plans, policies, standards and IT enterprise architecture for acquiring, implementing, and operating IT systems
-Ensure IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations
-Align IT risk management with enterprise-wide risk management
-Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities
-Develop, track, and control IT annual operating and capital budgets.
-Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources
-Prioritize, and control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems
-Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance
-Responsible for the management of multiple information and communications systems and projects, including voice, data, imaging, and office automation
-Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale
-Oversees, evaluates, implement and assure communications, systems, data and physical security
-Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide backup, disaster recovery and continuity plan
