• Being the Nationwide Interface between the TXN team & other departments(Broad Band and Carrier Division & Engineering Core Networks), solving all the issues related to TXN Plans (Microwave + Fiber), Physical Surveys, MW virtual surveys & all other requests.
• Responsible for maintaining & updating the Database FIMS(Fiber Information & Management System)for Fiber Optics team.
• Strong follow up from the team regarding the daily basis tasks & responsible for timely provisioning of TXN Plans for all four regions.
• Responsible for providing TXN Activity report, oversee weekly update & tracking of TXN issue.
• Responsible for raising & revising PRs in Oracle, coordinating with Budgeting & Finance for the provisioning of PO. Preparation of PAFs, SCC & GRN once PO is issued & Goods are received/Services is completed.

Responsibilities
• Assisted the project on Spectrum Trading
(i) Studying World Spectrum Trading scenarios and Recommendations for Pakistan
(ii) Draft Report & Final report

Achievements
• Gained knowledge of the new technologies to be launched in industry e.g. Fixed-Mobile Convergence, Multi-Protocol Label Switching, and Multi-Services Access Node/Gateway.
• Studied Telecommunications Regulation Handbook by McCarthy.

Responsibilities
• Updated the transmission paths and their respective BSC’s and MSC’s for
Database of Phase 1 and Phase 2 of North region.
• Proposed TXN Media Feasibility Form for traffic shifting from PST to I09 & from Melody to POF (Blue Area).
• Designed the MUX plan of Abbotabad metro ring.
• Communicating with OMC to get information of TRX linked with sites after expansion/activities, Providing Far Ends of sites to other Dept. when needed.

Accomplishments
• Designed Link Budget for new BTS using PATHLOSS.
• Designing transmission paths for BTSs while shifting media between BSC’s
due of traffic congestion.
• Designing the possible number of links we can install from Stock in hand.
• Designing Mux plan specifying the alternate route for traffic from BTS to BSC in case of link failure in a metro ring.
• Mapping the whole network on MAPINFO showing different cities.
• Analyzed Site-See feature of the network from Radio Frequency point of view.
• Viewed the network on Google Earth using TAB files.
• Made specific parts of network in Microsoft Visio.
• Made Link list of whole network while assisting Team Lead on Air Com to resolve frequency issues.
• Uploaded the recent database to Zong Software in Microsoft Access Database.
