High level designs and day to day managing of large scale Masdar Institute IP network consisting of nexus 7000, Cisco 6500 data center switches and more than 100 access switches.
Working closely with PMO office and other departments/organizations for planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work.
Investigating, troubleshooting and resolving 1st and 2nd line network issues.
Resolving routing, firewall and other data related issues for internal and external users
Managing the 3rd line support team ensuring resources are managed and workloads in structured
Working to implement structured support and troubleshooting processes
Monitoring the network infrastructure to take a proactive approach to the support and ensuring SLA agreements are met
Assess the capabilities of the current monitoring and management systems.
Preparing documentation for the configuration of deployed solutions.
Main point of contact for all hi-priority complex issues.
Designing and planning Secure Networks and network migration.
Implementation of various projects like Deloitte & Touché ME, Department of Tourism and commerce marketing-Government of Dubai, Sharjah Department of Public works, Gems World Academy, Federal Electricity and water Authority, Damas Hotel and Arab Media Group.
Maintenance of DIFC, Paris Gallery, Monarch Hotel Dubai, Cove Rotana RAK networks, Murooj Rotana etc…
Upgrading and installation of devices for Alpha Data AMC customers.
Site survey for WAP and implementation of autonomous wireless access points and light weight access points with controllers.
Configure and maintain ASA/PIX firewalls
Provide technical support, analyze and trouble shoot problems that cause operational delays.
Creation of technical documentation such as low level design (LLD), network implementation plan and as build network diagrams using with Microsoft Visio for the projects.
Perform related duties as assigned
Analyze an organization’s business needs, related design, implementation and maintenance of network storage infrastructure, to support their business needs
Responsible of assembling, installation and documentation HP ProLiant servers
Deployment of a variety of rack servers and applications with excellence, enterprise-class uptime, performance, manageable and scalable ProLiant BL, DL and ML series
Negotiate with engineers, trouble shoot and find solutions for quality, high performance and flexible deployment to meet the needs of the emerging market
Install operating system and required software
