Company behind the home grown Saudi brand "Signature" juices with over 80 stores in KSA.
* - Over all in charge of all operations for three restaurants(Aish O Samach, Tackle Baks, Yaal) to include liaising with all support functions (HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, QA, Finance, IT and Engineering team) for business success of two currently trading stores with third one due to open
shortly after Eid, reporting directly to Restaurant Business Partner. Responsible for current head count of 80 plus.
* - Responsible for putting together all operational manuals, SOP's, weekly/monthly operational dashboard, staff training/vacation/succession plans to include the workforce management & manpower decisions.
* - Working very closely with R&D team for recipe
development, food costings, yielding, putting together approved products & alternatives whilst staying within the agreed COGS calculation.
* - Working very closely with marketing team, delivery aggregators & IT to execute the marketing plans successfully & then have effective reporting to monitor & analyze the progress.
* - Successfully opened the new QSR, sea food concept in Khobar post Covid lockdown in August 2020, Currently in the final stages of opening of new fine dinning concept of 180 seater store over three floors.
I started off in IHOP Robeen Plaza which was first IHOP in
Riyadh by supporting the RGM with head count of more
than 65 staff & ½ million SAR weekly turnover. I
subsequently headed up the new store opening team &
opened up five new restaurants (Bustan, Irqah, Tahlia
Street, Riyadh Gallery & Olayan Plaza. I had my own store
for one quarter before I moved to next challenge in BLAZE.
Over all in charge of the support team & logistics with up
to 10 people in London, up to 25 people in Lahore, 400
plus drivers & around 1200 completed jobs in any given 12
hour shift. Resolving customer, driver complaints. Staying
on top of road closures & any planned events in/around
London to ensure that the extra demand is met smoothly.
Keeping an eye on possible dodgy credit card payments &
alerting the driver/team straight away. Liaising with
Transport For London (TFL) for private hire operator,
vehicle, driver license. Production of weekly rent sheet of
all the drivers & dealing with any queries.
Over all in charge of team of six, reporting directly to
Finance Director, working very closely with the three
Regional Operations Directors who were each responsible
for on average of nine Area managers and twenty seven
managers. I was the focal person for management reports
writing & KPI's when we moved the finance system to
CODA financials.
