• To provide professional in-put, in cooperation with the Projects Department Manager, to meet departmental objectives as part of NGD, in accordance with the corporate balanced scorecards and ADNOC Distribution strategies/procedures through an extensive management of industrial projects from tendering stage to project completion and close-out, inline with applied policies, procedures, local & international standards, in cost -effective manner.
• To function as a Project Manager of small to major Design and Construction Projects,
covering all phases from inception to completion.
• Manages, directs, supervises and controls the quality and progress of work performed by
Licensors, Design consultants and construction contractors.
• Ensures company policies for technical, safety, quality and environment are correctly
addressed and implemented.
• Manage the over al project schedule, scope & cost.
• Deliver project on-time & on-budget to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with the client both verbally & in written reports
• Manage the on-site management team
• Review engineering plan & specifications
• Support the project team in procuring project components.
• Deal directly with vendors / suppliers, obtain quotation, negotiate with vendors / suppliers and generate reports on procurement performance.
• Coordinate procurement activities with the Project and Engg. department to ensure components are available as schedule at the right price and terms. Confirm with Vendors their understanding of purchase order requirements & the method and milestones for progress verification
• Obtain from Vendors a comprehensive schedule to allow the expediting to gauge the progress of an order. Contact vendors for follow-up of engineering data submission, materials acquisition, progress, and any deliveries advice status.
Check at appropriate times to verify that scheduled activities actually take place.
Issue critical item status on weekly basis to summarize activities and status of most critical order to the project
Liaison with other procurement staff, project document controller, and scheduler as demand necessary
Ensure that areas of potential problems will be individually highlighted by issuance of an exception report and recovery plan for late activities identifying vendors
Lead multi-disciplinary project in the planning, implementation and delivery of projects of medium to high value, complexity or risk profile, to meet defined time, cost and quality standards.
To schedule work, monitor & Report progress.
To evaluate Agreements, Tender & Bids for project of high value.
Supervision of technical office.
Administration and filing of the job technical documents included superseded version.
Maintaining a database of Gas Sale Agreements of Different producers both locally and internationally for important contract provisions and technical parameters such as Gas specification, measurement, commercial terms and legal clauses.
Creating a databank of some of the international Oil & Gas Agreements available on the Websites & consolidating them.
Coordinating with different department of SSGC & SNGPL in the preparation of tender work for West African Gas Pipeline Project
Assessing supply and demand data coming from different sources for establishing a realistic supply demand balance for long term study
Prepare schedule and monitor fabrication activity on daily basis. Log Consumption of man-hours and fabrication consumable.
Act as support engineer on other projects, collaborating with other members of the design team to produce project results which meet or exceed stakeholder expectations
Prepare requirement of material, (preparation of MTO) and tools. Check its availability in store & submit requirement to purchaser through Manager.
Direct, monitor and evaluate the work of engineering contractors to ensure that health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are maintained in order to meet or exceed company policy requirements in these areas.
Act as a Deputy Management Representative (ISO 9001-2001).
Assist store in shipping consignment of client/out stations.
To monitor performance of vendors/subcontractors.
To coordinate b/w Client & subcontractor for the smooth completion of the project.
Planning and monitoring of the project.
Monitoring QC Activities.

Supervision & monitoring of NDT Test including Radiographic, Ultrasonic &
magnetic particle Testing.

To prepare inspection & testing plan for the general fabrication, structural fabrication & pressure parts in accordance with the contract, technical specification & production drawings.
Supervision & maintaining quality of SMAW, SAW, GTAW, MIG/MAG welding according to specification.
Carryout & maintain destructive test report including tensile test, bend test, impact test, chemical test & hydrostatic test.
Preparation of WPS (Welding Procedure Qualification) & PQR (Procedure Qualification record).
Perform welder Qualification tests.
Coordinate with third party inspector.
Involvement and implementation of ISO 9000 Quality Management System in HMC.
Familiar with codes and standards such as ASTM, ASME, AWS, TEMA, API, DIN & BS.
Completed Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from N.E.D University of Engineering & Technology with first Division in 1992.
