Throughout the years I occupied different positions and roles. Basically, I started as a chemical lab. Tech. Afterwards, I managed teams in laboratories. I also participated in logistics by planning and observing new laboratories' establishment. Furthermore, I was elected to be a part of a safety compliance team as a safety advisor where I polished the public speaking skills the most. Finally, I designed internal quarterly and monthly magazine and newsletter where I published different safety and technical articles and wrote many analytical reports.
Graduates are provided with the capability to financially manage and plan investments, benefits, retirement, wealth, assets, real estate, taxes, sales, marketing, risk management and quality assurance in addition to the skill of customer communication and counseling. I applied the field because it is a relatively new field that is expected to be in demand especially with the world economic changes and downturns. The major also provide students with all necessary courses to obtain the CFP certificate which is one of my aims.
After working for 9 years, I decided to continue my higher education and applied in 2007 for my BS degree at the AOU. I studied different aspects of Information Technology. Some of them were networking, C++, Java, telecommunications, Object Oriented Approach, project management and system analysis.
