I worked in an ethelyne plant under the improvent devision. I was assigned several projects during my time there, some of which I worked on individually while others were a part of a team. During my time working with Dow, I achieved several plant performance optimizations that minimized downtime and safety concerns.
I also utilized computer programs such as HTRI Xchanger suite and Aspen Plus to update an existing hydraulic model for a cooling tower water. The new model fixes a flow rate issue and decreases the number of pumps required in the process. Furthermore, I worked on a pipe rerouting design that alleviated the risks associated with a naphtha tank inlet.
Received a chemical engineering degree from the fifth top program in the US (US News ranking).
