Job Role: Notifications
• Reviews approved notifications on a daily basis. Coordinate with Operations Foreman or proponent to alter inaccurate notifications.
• Visit jobsite whenever possible to determine job description accuracy and job requirements.
• Construct Work Order history based on significant events as indicated by T&I Engineer.
Planning
• Obtain Plant drawings that include flow sheets, P&ID's (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams), plot plans and detailed drawings of principal pieces of Plant equipment such as drums, columns, furnaces, etc.
• Identify required materials, tools and equipment.
• Prepares estimated cost of materials, labor and invoices for T&I as needed and submits them to the T&I Engineer for review.
• Visits the Plant to make field checks on upcoming T&I equipment.
• Reviews, identifies and orders materials required for pre-fabricated jobs.
• Assist preparation of T&I scopes of work & packages.
• Assemble all important records relating to completed T&I's.
Work Orders
• Opens Order of correct type and activity, Develops scope of work, Estimates manpower requirements and duration for each operation and then Plans operations.
• Determine Material needs, unloading points and availability.
• Plans materials.
• Prepares Service Orders for required services such as erecting scaffolding, cladding and insulation replacement, grit blasting and painting, and hydro-jetting.
• Updates work order status at least weekly.
• Close Work Orders when Job is completed, time charged, Contractor activities completed and any outstanding Material issues are resolved.
Materials
• Follow up with Materials Procurement to ensure all Materials requirements are met.
• Pick list materials as required by Job.
• Coordinates delivery of materials to the job site.
• Maintains the T&I Yard in good order.
• Requests equipment BOM (Bill of Materials) updates to be carried out by Central Planner or Master Data Maintainers as necessary.
Scheduling / Execution
• Assists T&I Engineer to prepare detailed T&I schedules both in the form of critical path diagrams and simple bar charts
• Conducts field checks daily, on activities as per the daily schedule.
• Field checks progress of all current jobs and coordinates with Central Foremen or Lead men as well as the Craftsmen regarding the progress of the job.
