Rope Access Team Leader

Ensure that all rope access activities are carried out safely and efficiently
in accordance with company and statutory regulations.
Team lead the rope access team; safety management, work site
organization, supervisory leadership.
Utilize experience to execute rope access surveys and Inspection work
scope from client or site representative. Work at height subject expert for
the Inspection contract at site.
Conduct Risk Assessments and Toolbox talks.
Seeks to continually improve existing safe systems and methods of work.
Maintains the rope access equipment ensuring that the certification is
kept up to date.
All equipment will be manifested and all relevant paper work completed.
Attends client meetings during the task planning or organizing period.
Ensures quality standards are maintained so that quality of service meets
the necessary standards.
Promote a strong HSE culture at all times.
Ensure that personnel identify with and achieve the necessary Health and
Safety performance standards associated with the relative risks to
personnel and plant in their environment and daily work.
Ensure that business and HSE risk implications of integrity issues are
clearly identified and assessed for consideration within the Oceaneering
Integrity Management Team and communicated to the Client.
Ensure that the safety policies and procedures are understood and
adhered to as far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe
working environment
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated
Management Systems on the company.
Carry out work in accordance with the company health, safety,
environmental, and quality systems.

Rope Access Technical Manager

Inspection and use of associated height work safety equipment.
Safe use of hand and power tools o Correct use and making of rope knots.
Use of rigging techniques for handling materials and equipment.
Safe and correct use, inspection and maintenance of Fall Arrest
equipment.
Risk Assessments, Tool Box Talks and Method Statements.
Comply with Company and National legislative requirements, HSE and
QA Management Systems Maintain Log book as per company and IRATA

Carry out site visits to audit personnel and ensure/promote safe working
practices across the business.
Oversee the technical assurance of all Rope access activities and help
further develop the rope access management systems.
Developing business capabilities. Innovating, to enhance the performance
of the business stream.
Developing business opportunities and converting them into orders .
Control, monitoring and reporting of operational resources internally and
externally o Attendance at customer operational meetings as and when
required .
Regular communications with customer stakeholders to ensure customer
satisfaction.
Providing safety management, work site organization, and supervisory
leadership and accountabilities to work crews on various projects.
Supervising and ensuring the safety and performance of the Level 1 and
Level 2 technicians under his/her direction. Preparing and submitting
reports on a timely basis.
‑ Ensuring operational safety of all equipment.
Liaising with Operations Managers regarding project work.
Liaising with clients and site operations crew to ensure scope of job is
understood and well executed.
Mentors and performs on the job training of Level I and Level II Rope
Access Technicians as needed.
