I started SKY LINE GLOBAL efg , a freight forwarding company on 2009 as partner responsible for all operation aspects . In addition to my normal daily duties and responsibilities of supervise and manage our operation team and following up with each one of them all their daily activities from receiving shipping order, arrange with different departments, suppliers and sub-contractors to proceed in proses of the shipments, I am responsible to contact our suppliers, sub-contractors, shipping lines and air lines to arrange and negotiate purchasing prices and commissions too .

I Joint APTEC, a multinational company specialized in distributing computer products of software and hardware . My position was Logistics Manager. My duties and responsibilities were contacting suppliers and vendors to arrange with them all required procedures and documents necessary to ensure smooth and secure moving of the products from their warehouse up to our warehouse in Cairo. Thus I was required to proved suppliers with full shipping instructions according to our contracts and matching with Egyptian customs requirements, follow up with them to be sure of the agreed delivery dates . Once the shipment arrive, we start preparing documents that are necessary for customs clearance (Banks documents, Various approvals from different Egyptian authorities ……. ETC) . As a part of my duties I had 8 staff in my department . I was responsible to distribute daily work among them, arranging their time and follow up their daily outcome to ensure moving the products in an accurate, specific and safe time.

‎In my last job, I joint a shipping line APL which was part of our group for 10 months. During that ‎‎period I had management training in all departments such as sales and marketing, operation and ‎‎documentation. The main purpose of my training was to modify, improve and classify daily procedure ‎‎in-order to provide our customer with the best service. Then I moved to the forwarding company in the ‎‎same group. I was responsible for all operations of the company, handling sea freight shipments, air ‎‎freight odd sized cargo and logistics accepts, as we had an agency of one of the largest companies ‎‎providing logistics services for export shipments of garments. Our duty begin from receiving shipping ‎‎declaration of the vendor, getting necessary approvals from consignee (various from consignee to ‎‎another), booking with shipping line, following up with vendor till deliver the required quantities to ‎‎the port, then receive all export documents from vendors for revision, then sending all documents to ‎‎the nominated party at destination.‎
