Portfolio:As a senior member (Colonel) of a highly professional and prestigious Armed Forces of world, commanded & led a battalion in a field formation (Gilgit Baltistan - a disaster prone area).
Primary Responsibilities/ Achievements:
Planned, organized, executed and monitored of safety, disaster/ risk management & security of area of responsibility.
Coordinated security operations/ activities with public law enforcement, fire and other disaster management agencies.
Develop physical security/ safety responses. Discover source of security breach.
Prevention/ protect assets and people in organization from all type of hazards including aggressive acts and accidents. Assisting with emergency situations.
Special Tasks/ Achievements:
Planned security of special and high-risk events (200 plus over a period of duty).
Write and review security-related documents, incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives. Evaluate incidents and determine course of action.
HSEQ:Assure the safety and protection of personnel against injury/ death, molestation, harassment or intimidation
Prevention of loss or damage of assets from any preventable cause including fire, theft, embezzlement, damage/ destruction, trespass, espionage, or sabotage.
Manage processes for protecting classified, proprietary, and sensitive information.
Establish and install key controls on communication and property access. Install safety alarms around building and perimeter. Set up video surveillance.
HRM/ Training:
Monitor and support security-related processing for cleared staff.
Ensuring awareness, prevention & promotion of health & environment of troops.
Training subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures. Maintain an emergency training curriculum. Prepare and conduct information security training.
Responsibility: Execution/ implementation of safety/ security programs & procedures to ensure compliance with UN policies, licensing requirements, applicable government security requirements and directives.
Task:
Ensured strict implementation of security/ risk management procedures/ standards for peacekeeping operations, assets, systems, programs and models.
Timely preparation, submission of reports/ presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies and procedures.
Identify, investigate, resolve security breaches/ risks. Conduct, support, and assist in UN reviews, internal evaluations, and assessments of the overall effectiveness of the facilities security processes.
Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
Leading and managing a company of officers and soldiers in internal security operations
Responsibility: Security, safety, kinetic operations in area of responsibility. Security duties including threat perception and analysis.
Tasks:
Planned, directed, executed & coordinated safety, security and disaster management tasks to safeguard assets/ equipment, personnel.
Supervise security professionals, performing activities including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and disciplining.
