* Administering company’s entire insurance activities such as Employee Benefits, Motor Fleet Insurance, Worker’s Compensation, GLPA & Critical Illness, and other General Insurance lines related to the business of the group companies.
* Effected the documentation for placement of the Group Medical Insurance program for the company staff & their families (4000 employees & 500 dependents), through mandated schemes like HAAD, DHA & NON-DHA followed by complete policy administration thereafter.
*Compare, summarize, and negotiate on the insurance coverage limits and premiums with various markets/brokers on all relevant lines.
* Constantly reviewing existing policies and familiarizing with the latest changes in the market.
* Ensuring losses and damages for all classes of business were correctly recorded, and processed for insurance claims and subsequent follow-up for speedy settlement.
* Training and supporting the company staff in terms of medical insurance coverage, risk management & claims processes.
* Reconciliation of Invoices issued by the appointed Insurance Companies/Broker and coordinate with the accounts department for the payments.
* Thorough understanding of insurance premium calculation technique.
* Responsible for maintaining and updating all the insurance files.
* To advice the management on insurance matters.
* Complete responsibility for Policy Booking in Financial Management System (Debit Note Issuance for all lines of business, Credit Note Issuance, Receipt Voucher Issuance, Client Creation)
* Reconciliation of Invoices issued by the Insurance Companies.
* Created proposals for General & Medical Lines
* Coordination with Insurance Companies for the policies, medical cards, & Invoices.
* Coordinated with the healthcare providers for escalated issues from Operation Department.
* Good understanding in Premium Calculation method of all Insurance Companies and manual premium calculations
* Review member census data of all clients before forwarding to Insurance Company for the group medical policies.
* Responsible for policy dispatch to the clients
* Responsible for all Individual Medical related Operations until the card received by the client.
* Complaints handling and monitoring the overall process
* System Update discussion with IT team for the improvement of Process.
* Testing and analyzing the new reports in Financial Management System.
* Responsible for all types policy related endorsements
* Discussion with the various types of clients for their needs- Walk-in & In phone
* Report Statement of Account & Outstanding payments
* Payment coordination with clients & Insurance Companies
* Report Performance Presentation to the management on weekly meetings
Works under Personal lines profit centre, with a portfolio of Motor Insurance, Home Insurance, & Private Client Group for Karnataka & Goa Sector.
Working on Fleet business of Corporates and prepares the quote.
Effective monitoring of business through various exception reports to ensure that business is sourced within the approved guidelines.
Perform analysis on LR on regular basis.
Research on profitable segments & advice channels on the same.
MIS reports of production which helps to highlight the strength and weakness of sales team.
