• Develop and design all MEP scope of works including detailed design, performing all required calculations, preparation of drawings and all related specifications as well as detailed equipment schedules and vendors.
• Prepare cost effective proposals / suggestions related to the MEP design requirements.
• Develop strategies for MEP and standards for capital projects including analysis of the existing facilities, facility database, and master planning.
• Develop best practices and maintenance management.
• Work closely with the other disciplines’ team’s leaders from the conceptual design stage towards the final detailed design stage.
• Investigate new MEP design concepts and technical developments of systems for applicability to engineering problems.
• Ensure the plans and specifications for constructability and program adherence.
• Assesses project requirements, breaks projects into tasks, and works with design team to determine scope of work while overseeing budget.
• Write scopes of work for MEP designs based on preliminary/ detailed design and its requirements.
