As Senior Assistant Engineer
a) To approve or advice on an application development side of the road to ensure approval or advice in order and comply with the policies concerned that traffic safety is assured.
b) To approve the junction of exit or entry, signage or advice in the application development process for the Federal and State streets received from the applicant.
c) Applicants are individuals, private consultants, Local Government, or the Department of Government, Housing schemes includes the construction of one or more houses, terrace flats, shops, offices, buildings, workshops and other related with it.
d) Prepare Junction Design and Pavement Road Design.
e) Identify, comment and analysis Road Safety Audit (RSA) report and Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) report submitted by consultant.
f) Able to implement the Road Safety Audit in the planning, design, construction, opening and completion of the project (stage 1-5 ), which implemented the department, skilled in the review of the Road Safety Audit reports prepared by consultants and be able to identify dangerous elements in the existing road and translated in forms and reports . These things are to be based on these guidelines, the guidelines laid down by the PWD.
g) Ability to understand, formulate and enforce policies, laws, regulations and procedures of the Government to ensure that all actions and activities undertaken by the related parties are consistent with policies and procedures. For example, compliance with General Orders, Protocol Surgery Hall, Building By-Laws, the Law of the Livestock Industry and others.
a) To manage and monitoring the project construction for Ministry of Education, Religious Projects Affairs Department and Road Maintainance.
i. Capable of carrying out the construction supervision of building works and civil works outside the building and ensure its construction by the construction drawings, comply with procedures, standards and specifications
ii. Able to carry out preliminary investigations and assess the suitability of the site in terms of topography and conditions basically. Able to monitor the work of soil investigation to comply with the standards and specifications.
iii. Supervise the work done by main contractor and sub- contractor such inspection of pre-pour and post-pour concrete such as rebar, mould and finished goods inspection, prepare daily and monthly report, progress payment report and recommendations for payments, consult with main contractor pertaining technical matters and resolve problems during contraction and liaise with local authority and consultant.
iv. Ability to develop, monitor and ensure compliance with plans, policies, procedures and standards to achieve the government's objectives and meet customer needs. Activities include on-going monitoring / evaluation of the performance, development and improvement of quality standards and bench marks for meeting or exceeding the needs of work and process improvements. It is to foster a culture of quality and quality management initiative to be accepted and practiced in the government.
v. Capable of collecting, preparing and revising the input to conduct an investigation into the accident, identify methods of improving the design concepts and provide improvements in terms of road safety for hazardous locations (black spots) according to the instruction techniques and other relevant guidelines.
vi. Able to understand the basic concepts of systems and components in order to implement the road maintenance component of the civil engineering with a better way.
vii. Able to design a simple work outdoors for earthworks and retaining walls, internal roads and drainage.
viii. Ability to manage individuals and groups working proactively and maximize performance while identifying and adapting to individual differences and their background in terms of expertise, culture and interests.
a) To manage and monitor the construction Project of Security Ministry, Projects Islamic Religious Affairs Department and the projects for Department of State Court of the Judiciary.
i) Capable of carrying out the construction supervision of building works and civil works outside the building and ensure its construction by the construction drawings, comply with procedures, standards and specifications
ii) Able to design a simple work outdoors for earthworks and retaining walls, internal roads and drainage.
iii) Able to carry out preliminary investigations and assess the suitability of the site in terms of topography and conditions basically.
iv) Able to monitor the work of soil investigation to comply with the standards and specifications.
v). The ability to implement project management best practices based on nine ( 9 ) project management knowledge areas (Integration Management, Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Human Resource Management, Communications Management, Risk Management and Procurement Management), bench marked international standards and using tools and techniques developed by the PWD.
vi) The ability to assemble and manage budgets, controlling cash flow, establishing risk management and administering the tender process in accordance with the financial practices certified to achieve the strategic objectives of the Government.
vii) Ability to perform the role of the Secretariat or the Chairman in conducting meetings before, during and after the meeting. These skills also include the ability to type, collect data, write minutes and others.
a) To manage and supervision the construction of Ministry Health Projects, General Building and and Development Projects of the Federal and State.
i) Capable of carrying out the construction supervision of building works and civil works outside the building and ensure its construction by the construction drawings, comply with procedures, standards and specifications
ii) Able to design a simple work outdoors for earthworks and retaining walls, internal roads and drainage.
iii) Able to carry out preliminary investigations and assess the suitability of the site in terms of topography and conditions basically.
iv) Able to monitor the work of soil investigation to comply with the standards and specifications.
v) Ability to implement project management best practices based on nine (9) project management knowledge areas (Integration Management, Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Human Resource Management, Communications Management, Risk Management and Procurement Management), bench marked international standards and using tools and techniques developed by the PWD.
vi) Assess the progress on site using Microsoft Project, and prepare reports to be submitted to the Engineer. Coordinate (as necessary) things in between all the main contractor and sub-contractors and all agencies . Issuing Certificates of Completion and manage As- Built Records and handover the products to customer.
a) To manage and monitoring the project construction for housing scheme.
i. Report issues, status and progress of works on site, monitor the Contractors performance, monitor concerned authorities (agencies) approvals, monitor and report on deficiencies related to planned resources.
ii. Review contractor progress report, assessing the progress at site and prepare progress reports based on the Microsoft project submitted to an Engineer. Coordinate (as needed) all things in between main contractors and sub-contractors all of the Agency. Monitor work activities at the project site based on Microsoft project and manage As built records, and issue certificates of completion and delivery of products to customer.
iii. Receiving and taking actions on complaints of damages in hire-purchase houses.
iv. Maintenance of State Government building, house, flats and apartments
v. Ability to carry out activities and administrative support work such as recording and cataloging,
make copies, buy office inventory, maintenance facility and office equipment, making scheduling,
managing the stores and the like.
a) To ensure that the planning, management and implementation of small projects and social projects implemented by the government to be accepted by the community.
i. Capable of carrying out the construction supervision of building works and civil works outside the building and ensure its construction by the construction drawings, comply with procedures, standards and specifications
