• Conduct regular visits to check shops are complying with agreed strategy.

• Act continuously to improve shops results (space organization and management).

• Coordinate with engineers to ensure completion of investments projects (shop refits, manufacturers’ equipment installation, etc).

• Coordinate with suppliers, stores and distributors.

• Ensure maximum contribution from products categories in store through conducting sales analysis.

• Report activities taken in the different shops to line management.

• Control stock taking results regularly and work towards reducing out-of-stock rate.

• Ensure an up-to-date stations booklet with shops information, planogram, layouts, actions list and photos.

• Managing, training and supervising shop staff, and continuous follow up on service techniques.

• To maintain close contacts with all suppliers and to obtain a maximum of information and developments and price trends.
• To adjust the seasonal budget to correspond to actual sales performance of the company.
• All purchase to be in line with the approved total seasonal budget as well as with the monthly Open -To-Buy in both goods and money.

• To direct, co-ordinate, control and supervise all areas of merchandising including buying, stock planning and distribution of merchandise.
• To participate with other company executive in the development of sales and profit goals and the merchandising activity designed to support established goals and objectives.
• To achieve 100% test in turnover, sales, inventory control and operational results.
• To direct buying and distribution assuring that all the sales channels i.e. Retail, Wholesale, Direct and export will have the right merchandise at the right time and at the right price.
• To develop seasonal category estimates in co-operation with the Retail Marketing Manager, Wholesale Marketing Manager and Export Manager based on each store’s / depot’s / institutions and export sales potential.
• To co-operate with Retail Marketing Manager, Wholesale Marketing Manager, Advertising Manager and others to develop and implement seasonal and annual advertising plans include theme, timing, and selection of merchandise and determination of qualities of merchandise needed.

• To establish and update seasonally store estimates and requirements in accordance with store classification and merchandise manager.
• To frequently visit stores to assess merchandise mix against family shoe store competitors within the region.
• To suggest to merchandise manager regional action on slow movers.
• To recommend “price point” requirements by store.
• To establish and maintain constant communications with shop managers within region.
• To modify stock standards and transfer stock to maintain a proper merchandise balance by category.
• To analyze, on regular basis, regional size mix requirement and convey needed modifications to merchandise manager.

•Opens customer accounts by recording account information.
•Maintains customer records by updating account information.
•Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
