Performed as COO (Chief Operating Officer) of plastic business with PRAN-RFL group by establishing of hanger(Garments Accessories) business with world famous VISCONTI & ERUM brand. From the very beginning of hanger business I myself involved for procurement of mold, machine and other related logistic equipment for manufacturing of world class hanger and for which I have to travel to India, Nepal, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Bangkok Etc with different location for smooth supply of raw material and other related items to develop and established the business

- Setting up new factory for operating UK styles garments accessories(hanger) mold called “Accessories World Limited” with most modern machine @ Adamjee Export Processing Zone (AEPZ), Adamjeenagar, Siddhirganj, Naryanganj, Bangladesh
- Setting up of another one more new factory for operating USA styles of hanger mold called “Banga Plastic International Limited” @ Ghorasal, Palash, Narshingdhi, Bangladesh
- Recruited manpower for production management
- Recruited manager and senior executive for Commercial, Accounts, Marketing section and as well as office management
- Making liaison with BEPZA for allotment of EPZ plot with Adamjee EPZ and getting sanction
- Procuring Bond License from Bond Commissionerate of Custom, Excise & VAT and as well as yearly renewal
- Procuring DDEO approval for hanger co- efficient from Custom for establishing of raw material consumption against Bond
- Establishing off- shore Banking facility to run the business smoothly
- Keep in touch with foreign principal for Visconti @ USA and ERUM @ Spain for regular reporting
- Conduct audit with FCCA, ES, GSV to qualify for supply of hanger with WALMART
- Ensure smooth supply of Raw Material, Accessories, and other items for production
- Making Mold and other from China for production of hanger
Responsible for total operation of Bengal Plastics Ind. Ltd, Unit #03 (Hanger, Poly/Gum Tape/ Accessories & Corrugated Carton Division) at Zerabo, Savar, Dhaka. Bengal is the largest and oldest renowned plastic manufacturer in Bangladesh and the nominated agent of world famous garments hanger manufacturer of MARK( Mainette, A&E, Randy & Karner) brand. The factory is well equipped with 52 No’s of most modern injection mold machine and also equipped with mould maintenance shop Unit#03 keeping yearly production capacity of 400 Million pieces of quality hanger for using with world famous apparel stores like WALMART, KMART, H&M, ZELLERS, C&A, JCPENNY, SEARS, CARREFOUR, KIDS‘R’US, TOMMY, SHOPKO and many more by following ISO-9001:2000 of UKAS/URS of Quality Management and ISO-14001 of Environment Management.
Major Demand on the job included:
- Monitor with Commercial Division regarding raw material procurement from abroad and correspondence with suppliers to ship out the goods within the specific time
- Continuous follow up with C & F agent and Forwarder to release the goods from Port and face with Customs to solve any other problem with documents
- Check with C&F and Forwarder to determine the Duty, Taxes and other charges with Import Material
- Achieve Excellent world class quality of VICS standard with a continuous reduction of Manufacturing cost based in real terms
- Maintain a healthy and sustainable Industrial Relations environment in the plant to ensure that the employees are motivated to attain the company vision
- Implement planned investments & optimize returns and ensure that high Environmental, Health & Safety standards are followed with a Zero percentage (0 %) of accident rate
- Ensure compliance to all legal & Company policy requirement, Develop world class manufacturing process to attain benchmark position
- Ensure smooth delivery within country and abroad by maintaining ship date and follow up the realization of sale proceeds
Also responsible to look into the overall operation of Build-Up Plastics (BD) Ltd. and WINDSOR Plastic (BD) Ltd (An affiliated company of Bengal Group) both are located at Dhaka Export Processing Zone(DEPZ), Savar, Dhaka with a nice set up of modern Injection mold machine, with fully equipped of mold maintenance shop and a full set up of worker, Operator, Engineers and Highly skilled office management and trouble shooting dedicated work force
Major Demand on the job included:
- Supervise the production floor and control the quality of product by fixing up the target of yearly production capacity for 72 Million pieces of high quality world class plastic hanger
- Supervise the production of Sizer of different stores by maintaining the color as per Pantone book
- Maintaining liaison with BEPZA, Custom Excise and VAT and other Govt. agencies for smooth operation
- Closely monitoring the custom formalities and facing Custom Audit for yearly adjustment of Bond book and look after the Import/Export with different ports with custom and C&F agent
