• Responsible for day to day purchasing of Goods and Services as per Site / Office requirement.
• Sourcing and Tendering the Internal & External Stakeholders.
• Prepares Comparison Sheet and negotiating the prices, terms & conditions and payment terms.
• Final Negotiation with suppliers / subcontractors to get the best deals and to ensure the best quality and costing.
• Prepares & issues Local Purchase Orders & Letter of Intent for the approved vendors.
• Coordinating with Site Engineers for material deliveries and Inter-site material transfers.
• Monitoring Suppliers/ Sub-contractor’s performance.
• Maintains database of approved suppliers/ sub-contractors.
• Suppliers / Subcontractors Evaluation/ Appraisal.
• Takes immediate action upon receiving complaints and resolve issues with the supplier/ subcontractors in coordination with the top management and maintain Supplier Business Relationship.
• Contacts and finds the most suitable suppliers in the country to deal with on good pricing and payment terms.
• Maintains and updates the procurement library in line with MITTAL guidelines of ISO (Master Format)
• Update and submit the Monthly Reports for the purchases of each project.
• Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and management.
• Obtain information about goods and services by meeting with suppliers / subcontractors, making phone calls and studying brochures, website and trade publications.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager.
