Major area of responsibilities:

Financial Statements:
• Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements i.e. Balance Sheet, P&L, cash flows and variance analysis.
• Manage, control and ensure accounting activities and procedures conform to IFRS and GAAP.

Financial Reporting & Finance Management/Treasury:
• Monitor periodic financial reports with all required financial and costing analysis vs. Budget and KPIs.
• Ensure & monitor cash flow forecast in line with the target.
Finance Management/Treasury:
• Lead & coordinate with bank and customer in opening the Letter of Credit and review T&C and covenants to ensure timely availability of funds.
• Serve as primary legislative liaison for company financial issues.
• Prepare and filling all documents & inquiries to ensure compliance with UAE central bank regulations to avoid penalties.

Import/Export:
• Coordinated freight logistics, DP world and documentation i.e. BL, Telex Release and DO with international shippers.
• Arranged international shipments for customers ensuring documents i.e. VCC and Export Paper are completed correctly.
• Collaborate with vendors and carriers to maintain the most competitive rates and ensure the highest level of service is performed.

VAT - UAE
• Implemented VAT in Al Marid Group ERP system under VAT Group pursuant to Federal Decree-Law No. 8.
• Automate the Profit margin scheme on Used Cars under Federal Decree-Law No. 8.
•File the VAT Return.

Other
• Preparation of staff salaries under WPS and forward instruction to exchange.

Work with management to ensure internal control system is in place which ensures that all major risks associated with the donations and instalment (Akhuwat) are identified.

Conduct survey on behalf external auditor (Ernst & Young) for determining the problems borrowers faced in the time of registration and during the payment of their loan.

To coordinate coverage with the external auditors and ensure that each party is not only aware of the other's work but also well briefed on areas of concern.

Established and maintained working relations with clients.

Executed all approved audit programs and report to client management through Management Letter (Highlighting control weaknesses and recommendations)

Prepare financial statements and carry out other accounting tasks, both manual and computerized and ensure timely delivery of reports to firm's clients.

Implementing Quick Book Pro, Enterprise and POS (Point of Sale), and Peachtree for small and medium level clients.

Prepare invoices, entering discount claims and managing account receivable and payable.
Monthly wages, petty cash and other general journal posting
Daily bank receipts postings
Bank reconciliation, posting and balancing
Monthly management account preparation
Prepare lecture materials such as printing notes for students.
Prepare schedules and inform students about their class timing though SMS.
