Being part of the 2nd Line of Defence, analyze financial risk by identifying, measuring and communicating risk exposure activity of Finance function. Responsible for testing design effectiveness and operating effectiveness of internal controls. Preparing control walk-through and control execution matrix work papers for the assigned controls. Communicate with the business unit/ control owners in order to understand the Standard Operating Procedure of different compliance and risk related processes. Liaise with the business unit/ control owners for control related inquiries. Control observations/exceptions noted & reported to senior management on timely manner. Analyzing the underlying reasons for any compliance related issues/errors. MI to regional Assurance Leads on all SOX, Non SOX, Thematic, Demand reviews
Liaise with project stakeholders actively Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders Define project scope, goals, and deliverables Worked on a Group Project which involves Data Migration from a Legacy System to a new and enhanced system. UK Clearview Projectimplementation, data quality validations from the existing legacy system to Group compliant system. Ring Fence Bank Project-as mandated by UK financial services regulatory body (PRA-Prudential regulation Authority), new Legal Entity set up which carves out retail segment customers from others.

Design Departmental Instructional Manual for the COE team in accordance with group set up.
