- Creating training programs that are aligned with the organization’s objectives and having a strong understanding of what these are
- Working closely with various leaders across the organization and having a full understanding of their units and training requirements
- Embracing different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching
- Having an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training
- Building relationships with 3rd party training providers
- Managing the development of the HR team from a training perspective
- Designing staple curriculums for all employees (i.e. values)
Interview current and potential employees
Analyze data, position requirements, and interview responses
Evaluate and assess workers
Create reports based on research data
Actively play a role in management advisement
Organize new testing and training developments
Make recommendations on how to increase productivity
Responsible for:
Teaching business classes.
Maintain positive rapport with all students and create a positive learning environment to
adequately communicate lessons
Enforce the student management and disciplinary policies of the Institute
Participate in business curriculum development and planning with other Business
Instructors and Curriculum Developers
Coordinate with other Business Instructors and Curriculum Developers to integrate
curricula and monitor student progress
Perform clerical duties as required relating to textbooks, instructional supplies, student
reports and records, attendance reports, and others
1- Monitor instructor performance to verify training is conducted as outlined in approved training materials and in a manner that motivates personnel to learn
2- Verify that the training staff has obtained and is maintaining their technical and instructional knowledge and skills
3- Develop training programs according to approved methodology
4- Track training commitments to outside organizations such as the state and federal regulators and assist line management in meeting these commitments
5- Develop training program and trainee status reports for line managers, and assist line managers in identifying and resolving human performance issues
6- Track current industry training issues
7- Solicit line managers' involvement when training commitments or needs are not being fulfilled
8- Work to establish mutual trust and cooperation between the training organization and all facility personnel
9- Develop improved methods to meet training and facility objectives and goals as required
10- Develop training policies that establish guidelines for all training functions
11- Assist line management in identifying potential training needs based on facility and industry operating experiences
12- Initiate and help prepare long-range objectives for the training organization that are consistent with corporate, facility, and training policies, and develop a system for verifying implementation of the actions needed to meet the objectives.
1) Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate and/or graduate students on topics such as financial accounting, principles of marketing, and operations management.
2) Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
3) Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.
4) Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
5) Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
