Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities for the SharePoint & K2 Project in Mobily:

1-Supports Intranet sites built on SharePoint 2010 & K2 (BPM).
2-Perform Lite K2 development.
3-Plan and implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery mechanisms for the SharePoint & K2 platform.
4-Manages system security, system patching and upgrades.
5-Deploys custom developed and third-party SharePoint solution packages.
6-Configures SharePoint services and settings.
7-Documents SharePoint & K2 configuration and architecture.
8-Manages site quotas and file size limits.
9-Reviews and monitoring usage reports.
10-Manages content databases and creating new ones as required.
11-Administers and maintains web applications, site collections, sites and sub-sites.
12-Manages security for sites and sub-sites.
13-Develop, configure and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists.

I worked on one of the largest if not the largest portal site project that Naseej had ever built. In this project I started as team member of 6-member team and in less than four months I was assigned to be the overall team leader for this project.
In the role as a team leader I was responsible to do the following:
-Ran Weekly status meeting with the project management and account management.
-Reviewed all design and requirement document and made final decision of these documents.
-Built the portal site structure and content types.
-Met with the client on bi-monthly basis to discuss progress of portal development and addressed all concerns that the client might have.
-Writing content deployment plan.
-Selecting the needed and proper utilities for old site migration.

Space Research Institute \[SRI \] portal:Project Overview: Build portal infrastructure for SRI, the portal provides single point of access delivering information and services to different users groups Public Internet Users, Employees and Administrators providing an experience including Content Management, User Registration, and Project Management services.

A team of developers and myself were able to deliver on time all needed functionality and give the client a shining ambassador to the whole world taking into account the continues criticism this organization had faced in the past.
