Responsibilities
Leading a team of Senior Structural Design Engineers, Design Engineers & Detailers, engaged in structural design and detailing.
Coordinate Structural work with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc in exploring the options to resolve the design issues.
Reviewing structural model, design calculations, design and detailed drawings, general arrangement drawings, shop drawings etc…
Attending regular meeting with client and consultant to resolve all design related issues and submit for approval.
Preparing Design Basis Report (DBR) with standards to be followed in structural proceedings.
Ensure response to necessary construction documentation, including but not limited to review of shop drawings, RFIs, and material submittals.
Supervising the work of all structural activities and operations, maintaining progress records and reporting.
Reviewing contractor’s structural change order proposals and preparing recommendations.
Reviewing contractor’s claims related to structural works and preparing recommendations for claims.

Responsibilities
Perform Structural design and Analysis calculation using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience for both concrete and steel elements.
Coordinate Structural work with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc in exploring the options to resolve the design issues.
Use computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering design documents.
Review sub-contractor’s material submittals, method statement, comprising technical literature, samples and mock-ups as appropriate to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Review Design documents including calculation reports submitted by Sub contractors for different scope of work and submit for consultant approval.
Provide drawing for in house designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by drafter.
Review the Shop drawings in accordance with international code of practice.
Checking the quality of works as per QCS standards.

•Salwa Resort: Located in ABusamra (in 257 acres land, Developed by PEO, to be operated by Hilton) (1.5 billion QAR cost) (5 Star luxury hotel, luxury Arabic Villas, Recreation and Sports Centre)
