A leading freight forwarding company in the Middle East and the first Arab company to be listed in the NASDAQ stock exchange, presently Aramex is listed in the Dubai Financial Market with Global headquarters in Jordan-Amman
Employed as an Accountant, since July 2010 with the following responsibilities;
Costing of land freight in various destinations of ARAMEX in the Middle East from UAE to (AMM, BEY, DOH, KWI, MCT & KSA) for both import & export cargo operations based on the cost unit generated by the Global headquarters for each particular destination considering international fuel prices.
Freight billing of clients to accounts based on contract rates along with fuel surcharge considering the Global Rotterdam Index figures and associated customs charges.
Reconciliation of destination and or origin costs incurred during freight transit with global headquarters on a weekly basis.
Updating the contract rates on a periodic basis and generating, sorting and dispatching invoices to clients and ensuring invoices are filed as per weekly internal audit schedules.
Coordinating with accounts receivable and or sales team in case of dispute in Invoicing to clients and or credit limits breached by account holders.
Profit/loss sharing of freight with destinations/origins on a monthly basis for export shipments at month end for production audits to be conducted.
Monthly production report audit to ensure all associated cost has been accounted for and freight has moved at a reasonable profit margin and or investigating circumstances if to the contrary and reporting discrepancies to the freight accounting manager.

Passed out High School Edexcel examinations for O and A Levels in the year 2004-06 with majors in Accounting and Mathematics.
