Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection in a safe, courteous, confidential and professional manner. Collect urine and blood for testing and spin it in a centrifuge. Collect and prepare specimen and perform laboratory procedures used in diagnosis and treatment and prevention of disease, verify record and report laboratory results on all performed tests. Executed and analyzed tests in areas including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, histology, and bacteriology to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating disease. Evaluate quality control within laboratory using standard laboratory test and measurement controls. Perform stat and routine testing on a variety of specimens quickly and accurately.
