Negotiate contracts for the procurement of required materials and services from approved suppliers. Establish strategies to improve supply chain, solve shortage issues and strengthen supplier relationships.
Primary responsibility was to design Shawls & stoles through market research and study of comparable brands while also acting as a buyer for all three segments of the business.
Source, pre-qualify and evaluate suppliers to assess what services and products they are qualified to provide thereby ensuring that the correct products and services are available.
Conceptualize Design, Develop and control creative concepts using specialist skills, software where applicable in order to provide solutions to support the business.
Line item as well as bottom line management by ensuring designs as well as quality were world class and marketable. Attend trade shows to market products to retailers all over India.
