- Supervise and cordinate operation activities.
- Establish and supervise the operationl testing and control program.
- Analyze incidents and GT trip reports to take the necessary measures.
- Prepare permanent and tempory operating procedures.
- Manage the operation staff.
- Pilot and ensure the execution of start/stop power plant operations.
- Direct and control the running of GTs and BOP the power plant
- Monitor the application of operating instructions.
- Perform a check on the parameter readings.
- Ensures that the periodic patrols are carried out.
- Establish work requests, maneuvers and work authorizations.
- Ensure the establishment of daily operating reports.
- Ensure compliance with the safety rules for personnel and equipments.
- Establish incident and GT Trip reports.
- Check the operating anomalies and the measures taken to remedy them
- Witness E, I&C testing and commissioning activities and sign off check sheets and documentation.
- Assist with all interfaces between Electrical and Instrument and Control systems.
- Assist with loop check, calibrations, configuration and troubleshooting of sensors.
- Assist with SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) and energization of: Main Transformers 15KV/220 KV, Unit
Auxiliary Transformer 15KV/6.6KV, MT/BT transformers, BT and MT switchgear.
- Assist with installation, pre-commissioning and power-up of Mark 6e and Mark 6eS panels.
- Assist with DCS softwares (Mark 6e) installation and configuration.
- Assist with hot commissioning operations and start-up of 9FA gas turbine in accordance with GE
commissioning book.
- Prepare procedures and spare parts lists for controls and electrical systems.
